A surface cleaning apparatus is operable in a plurality of cleaning modes, including at least a wet cleaning mode and a dry vacuuming mode. The surface cleaning apparatus has a suction source, a suction inlet port in fluid communication with the suction source, a fluid dispenser, a pump in fluid communication with the fluid dispenser, a motor coupled with a brushroll to drive the brushroll, and a floor type sensor. Operating parameters of the apparatus may be automatically adjusted based on a detected floor type.

Anti-bacterial treatment device and method for a floor cleaning device

A floor cleaning device having an anti-bacterial treatment system includes a recovery tank configured to receive and retain waste cleaning liquid, a recovery hose in fluid communication with the recovery tank, and a vacuum system configured to draw waste cleaning liquid from a surface that is being cleaned through the recovery hose and into the recovery tank. An anti-bacterial material is located whereby at least some of the waste cleaning liquid discharged into the recovery tank passes over the anti-bacterial material. In a particular embodiment a debris trap assembly is positioned within the recovery tank such that waste cleaning liquid drawn through the recovery hose passes through the debris tray prior to discharging into the recovery tank, with the anti-bacterial material disposed at the debris tray.

A recycling bin and a cleaning device. The recycling bucket includes: an upper cover; a filtering part, which is detachably connected to the upper cover and which is provided with a plurality of filtering holes, a filtering space being formed between the filtering part and the upper cover; a sewage channel, which passes through the filtering part, and which includes a channel outlet that is located in the filtering space, the channel outlet being located above the filtering part.

CLEANING DEVICE WITH SINGLE TANK RECYCLING SYSTEM

A cleaning device may include a solution tank configured to store cleaning solution. The device delivers the cleaning solution from a pump discharge of the cleaning device to a flow meter. The device initiates a priming mode by opening a first valve associated with a bypass line of the device, closing a second valve associated with a cleaning head of the cleaning device, and delivering the cleaning solution from a discharge of the flow meter to the inlet of the solution tank through the bypass line. When the device is primed, it initiates cleaning by closing the first valve associated with the bypass line, opening the second valve associated with the cleaning head, and delivering the cleaning solution to the cleaning head.
