Thermal fuse resistor
A thermal fuse resistor including a ceramic substrate, a resistor body, a temperature sensing body, a first electrode cap, a second electrode cap, a first lead wire, a second lead wire, and a third lead wire. A first end of the ceramic substrate is provided with a first electrode cap, and a second end of the ceramic substrate is provided with a second electrode cap. The first electrode cap includes a main body, an inner end, and an outer end with an opening. The outer end includes an everted edge closely contacting the first end of the ceramic substrate. The main body and the inner end are arranged inside the ceramic substrate. The first lead wire extends outward from an outer end. One end of the third lead wire is electrically connected to the second electrode cap.
Fuse
Provided herein is a fuse that includes a conductive member, two shielding portions arranged on the conductive member, and a case. The conductive member includes a two bars on each end of the conductive member and an element (e.g., melting portion) that integrally connects the two bars. The two shielding members are disk shaped and are situated on the conductive member between the element and the two bars. The case encloses the element and the two shielding members.

Varistor component and method for securing a varistor component
A varistor component and a method for securing a varistor component are disclosed. In an embodiment, a varistor includes a first external contact, a second external contact, a varistor electrically connected to the first external contact, a path between the varistor and the second external contact and an active releasing device including a shutter and a heat sensitive element, wherein the heat sensitive element releases the shutter under abnormal operation conditions and the shutter closes the path between the varistor and the second external contact.
Hollow fuse body with notched ends
Hollow bodies and hollow body fuses are disclosed. Furthermore, methods to provide hollow bodies and hollow body fuses are disclosed. In one implementation, a hollow body includes a center portion and an end portion. An endcap may be coupled to the end portion. A cavity is formed between an inside surface of the endcap and an outer periphery of the end portion. A fusible element may be disposed within the hollow body, the fusible element may be further disposed within the cavity formed between the inside surface of the endcap and the outer periphery of the end portion, the fusible element traveling a substantially diagonal path through a center of the cavity.
