FOAM FUSE FILLER AND CARTRIDGE FUSE
Fuses having a melamine-coated-steatite foam filler are described. In particular, melamine-coated-steatite foam filler for use in a fuse comprising steatite coated in a melamine compound (e.g., plasticized melamine resin) and then heated to form crystalline foam filler are described. The foam filler may comprise steatite of substantially 3 times the melamine compound by weight and may be heated and then cooled to form the foam filler.
Electrical Circuit Breaker Device
Provided is an electrical circuit breaker device having quick breaking capability not only to relatively high currents but also to relatively low currents. The electrical circuit breaker device includes: a to-be-cut portion (400) that is arranged in a housing (301) and constitutes a part of an electrical circuit; and a moving body that moves in the housing (301) between a first end portion (320) and a second end portion (330) on an opposite side of the first end portion (320) by a power source P, in which the electrical circuit breaker device includes a fuse functional circuit portion (800) that is connected to the to-be-cut portion (400) and has a fusion portion (740) and an arc-extinguishing material Q, the moving body includes: a first moving body (500) that moves by the power source P; and a second moving body (600) that moves by power of the first moving body (500), the first moving body (500) moves from the first end portion (320) toward the second end portion (330) and cuts off a cutting piece (420) of the to-be-cut portion (400), and the second moving body (600) cuts off a part of the fuse functional circuit portion (800) after the first moving body (500) cuts off the cutting piece (420).
Foam fuse filler and cartridge fuse

In particular, melamine-coated-steatite foam filler for use in a fuse comprising steatite coated in a melamine compound (e.g., plasticized melamine resin) and then heated to form crystalline foam filler are described. The foam filler may comprise steatite of substantially 3 times the melamine compound by weight and may be heated and then cooled to form the foam filler.
HIGH-CURRENT FUSE WITH ENDBELL ASSEMBLY
A fuse includes a fuse element and a fuse body. A portion of the fuse element is housed in a fuse body. The fuse element includes a first terminal and a second terminal disposed outside of the fuse body. The first terminal and the second terminal electrically connects the fuse element to a circuit to be protected and a power source. A first endbell and a second endbell is coupled to the fuse element. A predetermined amount of arc quenching material is disposed within the fuse body. The arc quenching material contacts at least a portion of the fuse element. The predetermined amount of the arc quenching material is less than a total volume size of the fuse tube. The arc quenching material is compacted. A remaining air gap in the fuse tube is filled with a liquid adhesive and cured to a solid state.
Fuse link
A fuse link used in alternate current medium- or high-voltage systems with a current frequency of 50 Hz includes a spring-type striker pin and is designed for the protection of electrical devices against consequences of short circuits and overloads. A porcelain housing with a star-core, external end caps closed by plugs, star-core end caps with a ring-shaped first tap designed to ensure electric contact between the star-core end cap and the external end cap of the fuse link is also included. A spring-type striker pin is positioned along the axis of the star-core. Each of the end caps of the star-core is provided with an additional second tap designed to centre the star-core relative to the axis of the fuse link. The spring-type striker pin is centred along the longitudinal axis of the fuse link.
ELECTRICAL DEVICE
A terminal holding part 30 is provided in a battery pack mounting section of the electrical device. The terminal holding part 30 has a machine-side first positive electrode terminal 32, a machine-side second positive electrode terminal 33, a machine-side first negative electrode terminal 34, a machine-side second negative electrode terminal 35, and machine-side signal terminals 36. A fuse unit 40 is detachable from the terminal 32 and terminal 34. The fuse unit 40 includes: a fuse 41 connected between the terminal 32 and the terminal 34; a first conductor 49, one end of which is connected to one end of the fuse 41, and the other end of which is detachably connected to the terminal 32; and a second conductor 50, one end of which is connected to the other end of the fuse 41, and the other end of which is detachably connected to the terminal 34.
Glass rods fuse assembly and methods of manufacture
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide medium or high voltage fuses that employ spiral wound elements supported by rods, which may replace the usages of a ceramic core. In particular, the use of rods to wind and fix spiral fuse elements provides increased reliability by minimizing the fuse elements from drifting within the fuse assembly.
