A portable device for receiving a liquid from a floor via a squeegee or another scraping implement includes a container having a bottom and an opening that is distanced from the bottom, a ramp that extends from the opening of the container to a position generally levelled with the bottom, the ramp being adapted to receive the squeegee in a scraping movement thereon, and a handle portion that is more distanced from the bottom of the container than the opening thereof. The handle portion is adapted to receive a blade portion of the squeegee in order to move the device therewith.

A scuff-removing pad is provided that includes a piece of vinyl or linoleum sandwiched between two similarly shaped pieces of adhesive backed felt. The materials are pressed together using 15 tons of pressure for maximum adhesive and then die cut to form the shape of the scuff-removing pad. Each pad has a small through hole to allow for the insertion and tying of a tether which is tied at an opposite end to a clip or other device for removable attachment to a custodian's belt. The scuff-removing pad is useful for the custodian to erase scuff marks from vinyl flooring or other solid flooring.

Cleaning System having a Plurality of Tethered Sponge Cleaning Devices

A cleaning system includes a tether and a plurality of sponge cleaning devices. Each sponge cleaning device has an opening extending therethrough. The tether has body portion, an elongate holding portion extending from the body portion, a first retainer on the holding portion, and a second retainer on the holding portion between the first retainer and the body portion. The tether holding portion extends through the openings of the plurality of sponge cleaning devices. The tether first retainer removably retains at least one of the plurality of sponge cleaning devices in a use position along the holding portion. The tether second retainer removably retains at least one of the plurality of sponge cleaning devices in a storage position along the holding portion between the second retainer and the body portion.

The bucket engaging structure of the bottom subassembly may include in one embodiment a plate, a tail and a pair of legs for engaging the sidewall of the bucket, or in another embodiment a ring or disc that sits on the bottom of the bucket.

Mop bucket

A mop bucket includes a mop body with first and second compartments. The first compartment includes a sump region that is sized for receiving a portion of a floor care tool to best utilize the floor care tool and the contents of the mop bucket. A wringer assembly is attached to the mop bucket for cleaning the floor care tool and separating used cleaning supplies from unused. The mop bucket can include an insert for receiving the used cleaning supply to more easily dispose of the same. Tool hooks and floor sign attachments can also be included with the mop bucket such that the bucket provides all tools for use thereof.
