Spray arm assembly
Provided herein are a spray arm assembly and associated dishwasher. The spray arm assembly may include a spray arm and a satellite arm. The spray arm may have a body defining an inlet opening and an outlet opening spaced along the body, and the body may receive washing fluid at the inlet opening and direct at least a portion of the washing fluid to an outlet opening. The body may further define one or more fluid supply channels extending between and fluidly communicating the inlet opening and the outlet opening. The satellite arm may be rotatably coupled to the spray arm at the outlet opening, and a portion of the one or more fluid supply channels may extend past the outlet opening to direct at least a portion of the washing fluid past the outlet opening and back towards the inlet opening before entering the outlet opening.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher minimizes the flow of wash water, being scattered in a washing stage or a rinsing stage, into an airflow guide through a discharge opening and the remaining wash water in the airflow guide, and prevents the reverse inflow of wash water having passed through the airflow guide to a dry air supply part.
CONTROL METHOD FOR DISHWASHER
A method of controlling a dishwasher includes washing an object accommodated inside a tub by spraying water and detergent onto the object, rinsing the object by spraying water onto the object, drying the object by removing moisture adhered to the object, detecting an amount of a rinsing agent, comparing the detected amount of the rinsing agent to a predetermined amount, based on the comparison, determining whether the detected amount of the rinsing agent is less than the predetermined amount, and increasing at least one of a temperature of water to be supplied in the rinsing or a drying time in the drying based on determining that the detected amount of the rinsing agent is less than the predetermined amount.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher is provided that may include a tub configured to define a washing space in which a washing object is washed, the tub having an open side, a first accommodating rack configured to accommodate the washing object inside of the tub, the first accommodating rack being unloadable from the tub, and a door configured to selectively open and close the open side of the tub, the door supporting the first accommodating rack when the first accommodating rack is unloaded. The tub may include a first protrusion protruding from an inner sidewall of the tub toward the washing space so as to support the first accommodating rack and guide movement of the first accommodating rack, and a second protrusion provided above the first protrusion and protruding from the inner sidewall of the tub toward the washing space so as to prevent the first accommodating rack from being lifted upward when the first accommodating rack is unloaded.
DRAIN PUMP FOR LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A drain pump for a laundry treating apparatus includes a housing, an impeller, a motor, a circulation outlet, and a drain outlet. The circulation outlet and the drain outlet are defined on an outer circumferential surface of the housing, enable communication of the washing water with the housing, and protrude outward in directions tangential to the outer circumferential surface. The housing includes a rib that protrudes from an inner circumferential surface of the housing, that is located between the circulation outlet and the drain outlet, and that is to configured to guide the washing water to the circulation outlet or to the drain outlet based on a direction of rotation of the impeller.
Dishwasher and control method thereof
A control method of a dishwasher that includes at least two flow paths having different flow rates, a chamber having communication holes that each communicate with a respective flow path, a water supply pump configured to supply washing water to the chamber through an impeller rotated by a motor, and a flow path switching unit located within the chamber and configured to sequentially open the communication holes is described. The control method includes the actions of measuring an amount of current supplied to the motor while the motor rotates the impeller to supply washing water to the chamber, and determining a position of the flow path switching unit by comparing the amount of current supplied to the motor with reference current amounts that are each designated as an amount of current supplied to the motor when the motor rotates the impeller to supply washing water to the respective flow path.
Heating air for drying dishes in a dishwasher using an in-line wash liquid heater
A dishwasher has a liquid supply system with a first conduit portion through which the liquid passes, and an air supply system with a second conduit portion through which the air passes. The first conduit portion at least partially forms the second conduit portion to define a thermal transfer interface. A heating system includes a heating element provided on the thermal transfer interface. Activation of the heating element provides heat to both the liquid supply system and the air supply system.
DISHWASHER WITH LIQUID STORAGE TANK
A dishwasher with a tub that defines a treatment chamber, a sump fluidly connected to the tub, sprayers within the treatment chamber, a drain pump fluidly connecting the sump to a discharge pipe, a water tank fluidly connected to the sump with a controllable valve, a softener, and a diverter valve fluidly connecting the sump and the sprayers.
Diverter valve assembly, dishwasher, and household appliance
A diverter valve assembly, a dishwasher, and a household appliance are disclosed. The diverter valve assembly has a housing and a diverter valve. A water diversion chamber is formed in the housing. The housing is provided with a water inlet, a water return port, a first water outlet, and a second water outlet. The diverter valve partitions the water diversion chamber into a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber is communicated with the water inlet. The diverter valve is rotatable in the water diversion chamber to selectively communicate the first chamber with the water inlet and the first water outlet and communicate the second chamber with the second water outlet and the water return port, or block the water inlet from the first water outlet and communicate the first chamber with the water inlet and the second water outlet.
Dishwasher
The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher having a structure improved in convenience of use. The dishwasher includes a tub having a front opening and a top opening, a front door configured to open and close the front opening, a cover frame disposed on the top opening and including an opening opened in the up-down direction, a top door configured to open and close the opening of the cover frame, and a frame injector disposed on the cover frame to inject washing water from one side of the cover frame.
