A dishwasher includes: a cabinet defining an external appearance of the dishwasher; a tub disposed in the cabinet to form a space where to wash dishes, and having an exhaust hole formed on an upper surface of the tub; and an external air flow unit forming a flow path, along which external air is introduced and discharged, and having an inflow hole formed above the exhaust hole to communicate with the tub, wherein the external air flow unit takes a shape in which a cross-sectional area of the flow path decreases in an upstream side of the inflow hole in a flow direction of the external air and increases in a downstream side of the inflow hole.
DISHWASHER COMPRISING A FRUIT AND VEGETABLE WASHING APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a dishwasher for washing fruits and vegetables with less water and minimum energy use. The dishwasher (M) comprises main body; first basket (S); bottom area (1) in which there are provided two-way valve (1a), first channel (1b) and second channel (1c); washing compartment (2) comprising third channel (2a), first water outlet (2b), second water outlet (2c) and drainage connection unit (2d); fruit and vegetable washing apparatus (F) located on the first basket (S) and comprising chamber (4) in which fruits and vegetables are washed, carrying member (2) providing connection to the first basket (S) and one side of which is connected with lower side of the chamber (4), first water inlet (7) through which water reaching the first water outlet (2b) is transmitted into the carrying member (2), second water inlet (8) transmitting water from the second water outlet (2c) into the chamber (4); and control unit which controls operation of the valve (1a) such that water is transmitted to the second channel (1c) for washing fruits and vegetables or to the first channel (1b) for washing dishes inside the dishwasher (M), in response to the user-selected washing program of the dishwasher (M).
DISHWASHER WASH BASKET
A utensil basket for removable mounting in a dishrack of a dishwasher having a liquid distribution system. The utensil basket having a housing with a porous base member, and a non-porous cover member. A set of seats are provided within the housing. A utensil separator can separate utensils received on the seats. A sprayer can be carried by the housing and configured to emit a spray of liquid toward the multiple seats.
Dishwasher including rack corner sprayers
A dishwasher utilizes multiple rack-mounted corner sprayers disposed in corners defined between a side wall and front and rear walls of a dishwasher rack to direct fluid inwardly from the corners to wash utensils supported by the rack. The corner sprayers are in fluid communication with one another by a fluid channel that extends along the side wall of the rack, and an inlet port coupled to the first corner sprayer conveys fluid to each of the corner sprayers.
Spray arrangement for dishwashers
The spray arrangement according to the present invention which is suitable for use in a dishwasher such that the spray arrangement is located to rotate along a plane parallel to the base of the rack for spraying a cleaning liquid to the dishes, wherein the spray arrangement comprises: the main body (1) in the form of a chamber; the spray arm (2), a part of which extends out of the main body (1), wherein the spray arm (2) has an angled hole (2a) thereon, enables the main body (1) to rotate by spraying the cleaning liquid passing through the spray arm (2) through said angled hole (2a) by means of a passage opening, and moves backward and forward; the movement mechanism which provides movement of the spray arm (2) by transferring rotational movement of the main body (1) to the spray arm (2); the liquid inlet (1f), wherein cleaning liquid received from a source is delivered to the dishes through holes on spray arm (2); the holder bearing (1a) which is located above the opening, and guides movement of the spray arm (2), wherein the spray arm (2) is fitted at the space between the holder bearing (1a) and the opening; the liquid distribution member (5) through which the cleaning liquid from the liquid inlet (1f) is distributed to the spray arm (2); and the delivery line (6) which is in connection with the passage opening and is connected to the liquid distribution member (5) such that the delivery line (6), in the closed position of the spray arm (2), is at an opposite side of the liquid distribution member (5) facing the passage opening, wherein the cleaning liquid reaching the liquid distribution member (5) is transferred to the spray arm (2).
Dishwashing machine and method of controlling the same
According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a dishwashing machine includes a tub accommodating tableware, a nozzle assembly spraying washing water, a vane assembly changing a traveling direction of the washing water sprayed from the nozzle assembly to move linearly inside the tub, a user interface for receiving a divided washing zone selected by a user, and a control unit controlling movement of the vane assembly to wash the selected divided zone by the washing water including the changed traveling direction.

A dishwasher is provided in which tableware is capable of being washed with washing water of a high pressure by preventing the pressure of the washing water from dropping. The dishwasher includes a main body in which a washing tub is formed, a sump provided in the main body and storing washing water, a plurality of injection nozzles to inject the washing water into the washing tub, a plurality of flow passages respectively connected to the plurality of injection nozzles, and a distribution apparatus configured to selectively open and close the plurality of flow passages and communicate with the plurality of flow passages, respectively, and including rotary member having a plurality of independent connection passages and a case in which the rotary member is accommodated.
DISHWASHER WITH DISCRETELY DIRECTABLE TUBULAR SPRAY ELEMENTS
A method and dishwasher utilize one or more tubular spray elements that are both rotatable about longitudinal axes thereof and discretely directable by one or more tubular spray element drives between a plurality of rotational positions about the longitudinal axes thereof. Thus, through the provision of discretely directable tubular spray elements, fluid such as wash fluid and/or pressurized air may be focused in a wash tub, in many cases providing more efficient resource usage in the dishwasher.
