A lint removal system for a laundry appliance includes a lint washing assembly adapted to deliver wet lint to a disposal area. An impeller is disposed within a continuous processing chamber of a pump casing, the impeller operable to deliver a fluid from the disposal area to a drain outlet. The requirement for discharging residues can be met, that is, the residue disposal device can replace a drain pump to form a discharge water path from the water collection assembly to the residue disposal device and the drain hose to promote processed food residues to be discharged from the drain hose. The whole process is implemented automatically without manual intervention.

The invention relates to a handling module for loading a transport device of a conveyor dishwasher. The handling module comprises a turning wheel for turning a dishware item, a supply ramp and a feed ramp for transferring the dishware item from the turning wheel to a transport device of the conveyor dishwasher, wherein the feed ramp has at least one waste disposal opening, wherein the turning wheel is designed to receive the dishware item supplied via the supply ramp in an orientation with a use side facing upwards, wherein the turning wheel is also designed to turn the dishware item and to place same on the feed ramp with the use side facing downwards, wherein, when placing the dishware item on the use side, waste on the dishware item can be disposed of via the waste disposal opening due to gravity. The invention also relates to a cleaning system comprising the handling module, as well as a method for cleaning items to be cleaned.
