A stand-alone dishwasher for non-plumbed, environmentally friendly dishwashing includes a washer body. A front side has a drain aperture extending through to an inner compartment of the washer body. A lid is coupled to the washer body to cover and alternatively uncover a principal aperture. A plurality of rails is coupled within the inner compartment to support a plurality of racks that is removable through the principal aperture. A floor panel is coupled to the washer body and creates a lower compartment between a bottom side of washer body and the floor panel. A heater is coupled within the lower compartment. The heater is configured to turn water within the inner compartment into steam. A plurality of controls is coupled to the lid. The plurality of controls is in operational communication with the heating element.

A dishwasher having a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber has a chassis supporting the tub. The chassis has a base and defines a space below the tub, and a terminal box having at least one enclosure wall defining an interior is located within the space. A wire connection box is located within the interior of the terminal box. The wire connection box includes a housing and multiple terminals, and is configured to receive and couple the electrical connection for the dishwasher and the electrical mains power line.

A dishwasher for treating dishes according to an automatic cycle of operation includes a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber with an access opening, a sump fluidly coupled to the tub, and a liquid recirculation circuit fluidly coupling the sump to the treating chamber. Disclosed is a dishwasher capable of preventing distortion of a door. The dishwasher includes: a main body including a dish washing compartment having a dish entrance, and a door including an outer panel and an inner panel arranged with a space therebetween to open and close the dish entrance, the door including a panel-movement preventing member in the space between the outer panel and the inner panel to prevent relative movement between the outer panel and the inner panel. In the dishwasher according to the disclosure, the panel-movement preventing member is inserted in between the inner and outer panels of the door to prevent the relative movement between the inner and outer panels, thereby preventing the distortion into a diamond shape, strengthening a door structure, and preventing leakage due to the distortion.

A dishwasher has a treating chamber for receiving dishes for treatment according to an automatic cycle of operation and a dispensing system for storing and dispensing a treating chemistry to the treating chamber during the cycle of operation. The dishwasher may dispense a treating chemistry when a temperature of a liquid in the treating chamber satisfies a predetermined temperature threshold. The ejection mechanism is disposed in the inner container for exerting an acting force to the door body to cause the door body to be unlocked from the inner container. The auxiliary door opening mechanism is provided on the inner container for exerting the acting force to the hinge, to cause the door body to exhibit a tendency to rotate and open relative to the inner container.
