A dishwasher appliance having a console assembly equipped with light bleed prevention features is provided. In one aspect, the dishwasher includes a cabinet, a door rotatably mounted to the cabinet, and a console assembly mounted to the door. The console assembly includes a light source operable to emit light into a console cover. A light blocking film is mounted to a top surface of the console cover and defines a light pass-through opening through which light may pass to illuminate an indicia. The console cover includes one or more edges that may be exposed to an ambient environment. The console cover is formed at least in part of a non-clear resin such that light is allowed to travel through the console cover and through the light pass-through opening yet light bleed stemming from the one or more edges is not visible to a human eye.

There is disclosed a sensor fixing member and a dishwasher including the sensor fixing member. A dishwasher may include a case defining an exterior and having an open front; a door sealing the open front of the case and comprising a door panel and a door cover covering the door panel; a nozzle spraying washing water into the case; a nozzle restriction detecting sensor provided inside the door and disposed at a height equal to the height of the nozzle from a bottom surface; and a sensor fixing member having one side coupled to the nozzle restriction detecting sensor and the other side coupled to the door.

The panel assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a frame panel consisting of one sheet of metal plate and having a front surface, an upper surface bent from the front surface, and a side surface bent from the front surface; and a corner member coupled with a gap formed between the upper surface of the frame panel and the side surface of the frame panel, in which the corner member includes an exposed portion exposed to the outside and a buried portion covered with the upper surface or the side surface of the frame panel.
