An ultrasonic endoscope includes a distal end rigid portion that is located at a distal end of an insertion section; a treatment tool lead-out portion that is disposed on a proximal end side of an ultrasonic transducer and that includes an erecting base housing portion that has an opening whose opening direction is toward one side in a first direction, an opening forming surface in which the opening is formed, and a treatment-tool erecting base that is disposed in an inside of the erecting base housing portion and that changes a lead-out direction of a treatment tool; and an observation window that is disposed in an observation means forming surface located on the proximal end side of the opening forming surface. The position of the observation window in the first direction is located on one side in the first direction relative to a one-side opening position of the opening.
Endoscopic surgery device
An insertion part of an endoscope and an insertion part of a treatment tool, which are inserted in an outer tube, can be synchronously moved in the axial direction, and, even when the insertion part of the treatment tool is slightly moved in the axial direction, an excellent endoscopic image without shake is obtained. When a treatment tool of an endoscopic surgery device moves by a displacement amount over an allowance amount, an endoscope moves in interlock with the movement of the treatment tool. Moreover, the treatment tool 50 moves in the axial direction with the allowance amount t with respect to the endoscope 10. Therefore, when the treatment tool is moved by a displacement amount of allowance amount or less, the endoscope does not move. By providing such allowance amount, slight movement of the treatment tool is not transmitted to the endoscope.
Stylet assembly
A stylet assembly and method of forming an in vivo image acquiring stylet assembly. The stylet assembly includes an elongate flexible body and an image acquiring device that is supported at a location that is offset from an in vivo facing terminal end of the stylet assembly. A terminal end portion of the stylet assembly is defined by a manipulator that is oriented to extend in a crossing direction relative to a longitudinal axis of the elongate body. The terminal end portion of the stylet assembly is steerable relative to the elongate body and is operable to manipulate positions or adjacent anatomy and/or effectuate guidance of the imaging device relative thereto during use.

Elbow coupling joint assembly includes distal elbow joint subassembly connected to forearm segment. Proximal elbow joint subassembly is configured to be driven to rotate forearm segment relative to proximal main elbow axis.

A scaffolding may be provided with opposing tissue-engaging portions and at least one expansion member configured to transition between a compressed configuration having a reduced distance between the tissue-engaging portions and a deployed configuration having an increased distance between the tissue-engaging portions.
ENDOSCOPE ACCESSORY CONTROLS AND METHODS OF USE
A medical device includes a handle including a first slot, a first control device movable within the first slot in a proximal direction and a distal direction, and a sheath extending from the handle and having a longitudinal axis, the sheath defining a first lumen extending from the handle to a distal end of the sheath. A first tube extends within the first lumen, the first tube is connected to the first control device and moves between a first position, where a distalmost end of the first tube is flush with or proximal of a distalmost end of the sheath, and a second position, where the distalmost end of the first tube is positioned distal of the distalmost end of the sheath. The first slot extends parallel to the longitudinal direction of the sheath.
Steerable micro-endoscope
An endoscope comprising: a tubular elongated member; a tensioning wire in a tensioning lumen along one side of the elongated member, between the proximal end and the distal end of the elongated member; a head arranged at the distal end of the elongated member and comprising: a tubular tensioning ring attached to the distal end of the tensioning wire and having a same external diameter as the elongated member; an imaging sensor having a rectangular cross section, arranged at a distal end of the head; and a tubular distal shell arranged longitudinally around the imaging sensor and having an inner diameter identical to or slightly larger than a diagonal of the rectangular cross section of the imaging sensor; wherein a tubular jacket sheathes the elongated member and the tensioning ring of the head.
Tissue clip application fitting/retrofitting set
A tissue clip application fitting set or retrofitting set includes a cap attachment for placement on the distal head of a medical endoscope, which has a placement section and a tissue clip holding section. The cap attachment is notched at least at two angular positions forming at least two notches/slots/grooves. A working channel leads into the hollow chamber and exits the hollow chamber radially in a region distal to the placement section and proximal to the radially supported tissue clip. A first guiding or leading element is arranged after the working channel belonging to the retrofitting set, as seen in the distal direction. A corresponding second guiding or leading element is arranged within the hollow chamber at an angular distance from the first guiding or leading element so as to be oriented in extension to a working channel belonging to the endoscope.
Multimodal endoscope and methods of use
An endoscope may include a needle and a scope, which may optionally be contained in an elongated shaft. The endoscope may further include a handle comprising at least one button, a visualization component, a reservoir configured to contain a composition, and a dispensing mechanism. The at least one button, the needle, the reservoir, and the dispensing mechanism may be operably linked to cause the composition to be dispensed from the reservoir through the needle to a portion of an ear. A method for using such an endoscope may include inserting the endoscope into a portion of an ear, using the visualization component to visualize the portion of the ear, and pressing the at least one button to dispense the composition from the reservoir through the needle to the portion of the ear.
