Cover and endoscope system
A cover includes a cover body and a covering portion. The cover body can include an opening edge exposing a part of a distal structure portion, an annular portion surrounding a periphery of the distal structure portion, a proximal edge, a dividing portion provided in the annular portion in a manner to define a slit that is continuous with the opening edge portion and the proximal edge portion, and an overlapping portion. The dividing portion includes a first cylindrical wall portion, and a second cylindrical wall portion. The first cylindrical wall portion and the second cylindrical wall portion overlap at least partly in the overlapping portion. The covering portion is configured to cover a part, where at least the dividing portion is provided.
Surgical visualization systems and related methods

Systems and methods herein can be used in a wide range of surgical procedures, including spinal surgeries such as minimally-invasive fusion or discectomy procedures. Systems and methods herein can include various features for enhancing end user experience, improving clinical outcomes, or reducing the invasiveness of a surgery. Exemplary features can include access port integration, hands-free operation, active and/or passive lens cleaning, adjustable camera depth, and many others.
DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPIC ADVANCEMENT THROUGH THE SMALL INTESTINE
An apparatus for advancing a device through a gastrointestinal tract. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes first and second grabbing mechanisms adapted to grab and release tissue of the gastrointestinal tract, the first grabbing mechanism being releasably attachable to the device, the second grabbing mechanism being attached to an outer element configured to at least partially surround the device, the first and second grabbing mechanisms being axially movable with respect to each other along the gastrointestinal tract; and a radially expandable blocking element disposed proximal to the first grabbing mechanism and movable with the first grabbing mechanism with respect to the second grabbing mechanism, the blocking element being adapted to move tissue of the intestinal tract with respect to the second grabbing mechanism when the blocking element is moved toward the second grabbing mechanism. The invention also includes corresponding methods.
Endoscopic systems, devices, and methods for performing in vivo procedures
Example embodiments relate to devices, systems, and methods for performing a diagnostic and/or therapeutic action. The system may comprise an elongated main body having a first end. The system may further comprise an anchor assembly attached to the main body near the first end of the main body. The anchor assembly may comprise a first expandable member. The first expandable member may be configurable to expand radially away from the main body. The anchor assembly may further comprise a second expandable member provided between the first expandable member and the first end of the main body. The second expandable member may be configurable to expand radially away from the main body. The anchor assembly may be operable to secure the main body with respect to an interior wall forming the cavity of the patient.
Medical sampling device
A medical sampling device is disclosed for use with a medical device having a suction channel and a suction connector in fluid communication with said suction channel. The sampling device includes a suction inlet for connection to the suction connector, a suction outlet for connection to a vacuum source, a sampling inlet and outlet for connection to a sample container, and a valve including a valve member having first and second chambers and being rotatable between first and second positions. The first chamber in the first position establishes fluid communication between the suction inlet and the sampling inlet. The second chamber in the first position establishes fluid communication between the sampling outlet and the suction outlet. One of the first and the second chambers in the second position establish fluid communication between the suction inlet and the suction outlet.
EAR VISUALIZATION AND TREATMENT SYSTEM
A device for visualizing and providing suction for a surgical procedure in an ear may include a handle, a main shaft extending from the handle, an imaging sensor at a distal end of the main shaft, a light source at the distal end of the main shaft, and a suction shaft extending from the handle. The device may also include a spring coupled with the suction shaft and/or the handle, such that when the suction shaft is advanced in a distal direction and then released, the suction shaft retracts automatically. The suction shaft may have a distal curved portion, and the device may have a thumb depress portion that allows a user to spin the suction shaft to suction in different directions. Some embodiments may include a suction shaft with a sharp distal tip that is configured for placing an ear tube in the tympanic membrane.
Imaging and collection device and related systems and methods
Disclosed herein are devices having both imaging components and cell collection apparatuses. More specifically, the various embodiments disclosed herein include swallowable capsules having deployable collection structures, expansion structures to deploy the collection structures, and imaging components.
Instrument port with fluid flush system
In at least some aspects, an instrument port for introducing an instrument into a surgical site comprises: a port body having: an instrument channel extending through the port body; and a plurality of fluid flush channels each separate from one another and the instrument channel, each extending along a major portion of the port body and in fluid communication with the instrument channel; and a bulb comprising a bulb channel extending through the bulb, the bulb channel aligned with the instrument channel, wherein the bulb channel and instrument channel are configured to receive the instrument.
TREATMENT TOOL DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPE AND ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
A treatment tool device for an endoscope includes a treatment tool main body and an oversheath. The treatment tool main body includes a flexible sheath, an operation wire, a snare wire, and a hard part. The operation wire is inserted through the flexible sheath. The hard part is provided at a base end portion of the flexible sheath. The oversheath is inserted into a forceps channel in a state where the flexible sheath and the hard part are inserted into the oversheath.
