Semiconductor packaging device comprising a shield structure
Various embodiments of the present application are directed towards a semiconductor packaging device including a shield structure configured to block magnetic and/or electric fields from a first electronic component and a second electronic component. The first and second electronic components may, for example, be inductors or some other suitable electronic components. In some embodiments, a first IC chip overlies a second IC chip. The first IC chip includes a first substrate and a first interconnect structure overlying the first substrate. The second IC chip includes a second substrate and a second interconnect structure overlying the second substrate. The first and second electronic components are respectively in the first and second interconnect structures. The shield structure is directly between the first and second electronic components. Further, the shield structure substantially covers the second electronic component and/or would substantially cover the first electronic component if the semiconductor packaging device was flipped vertically.

A semiconductor device according to the present invention includes a semiconductor support substrate, an insulation layer having a thickness of at most 10 nm, and a semiconductor layer. In an upper surface of the semiconductor layer, a first field-effect transistor including a first gate electrode and constituting a logic circuit is formed. Further, in the upper surface of the semiconductor layer, a second field-effect transistor including a second gate electrode and constituting a memory circuit is formed. At least three well regions having different conductivity types are formed in the semiconductor support substrate. In the presence of the well regions, a region of the semiconductor support substrate below the first gate electrode and a region of the semiconductor support substrate below the second gate electrode are electrically separated from each other.

The present disclosure provides a semiconductor device including a bulk substrate, a semiconductor layer above the bulk substrate, an insulating layer between the semiconductor layer and the bulk substrate, a source region and a drain region on the bulk substrate, a gate dielectric between the source region and the drain region, the gate dielectric having a first portion on the bulk substrate and a second portion on the semiconductor layer, and a gate electrode above the gate dielectric.
Method of manufacturing a semiconductor device and a semiconductor device
In a method of forming a FinFET, a first sacrificial layer is formed over a source/drain structure of a FinFET structure and an isolation insulating layer. The first sacrificial layer is recessed so that a remaining layer of the first sacrificial layer is formed on the isolation insulating layer and an upper portion of the source/drain structure is exposed. A second sacrificial layer is formed on the remaining layer and the exposed source/drain structure. The second sacrificial layer and the remaining layer are patterned, thereby forming an opening. A dielectric layer is formed in the opening. After the dielectric layer is formed, the patterned first and second sacrificial layers are removed to form a contact opening over the source/drain structure. A conductive layer is formed in the contact opening.
Integrated assemblies having thicker semiconductor material along one region of a conductive structure than along another region, and methods of forming integrated assemblies
Some embodiments include an integrated assembly having a conductive structure which includes a semiconductor material over a metal-containing material. A stack of alternating conductive levels and insulative levels is over the conductive structure. A partition extends through the stack. The partition has wall regions, and has corner regions where two or more wall regions meet. The conductive structure includes a first portion which extends directly under the corner regions, and includes a second portion which is directly under the wall regions and is not directly under the corner regions. The first portion has a first thickness of the semiconductor material and the second portion has a second thickness of the semiconductor material. The first thickness is greater than the second thickness. Some embodiments include methods of forming integrated assemblies.
