Single cell photovoltaic module
A photovoltaic module includes a first transparent electrode layer characterized by a first sheet resistance, a second transparent electrode layer, and a photovoltaic material layer. The photovoltaic material layer is located between the first transparent electrode layer and the second transparent electrode layer. The photovoltaic module also includes a first busbar having a second sheet resistance lower than the first sheet resistance. The first transparent electrode layer, the second transparent electrode layer, and the photovoltaic material layer have an aligned region that forms a central transparent area of the photovoltaic module. The central transparent area including a plurality of sides. The first busbar is in contact with the first transparent electrode layer adjacent to at least a portion of each of the plurality of sides of the central transparent area.
Solar cell and solar cell panel including the same
A solar cell panel is disclosed. The disclosed solar cell panel includes a semiconductor substrate, a conductive region disposed in or on the semiconductor substrate, an electrode connected to the conductive region, a lead electrically connected to the electrode. The electrode includes finger lines, and a bus bar line extending across the finger lines, and electrically connected to the lead. First and second end edge areas are arranged at opposite ends of the bus bar line disposed adjacent to opposite edges of the semiconductor substrate, respectively. The bus bar line includes electrode portions respectively disposed at the first end second end edge areas. Each electrode portion includes an opening formed through the each electrode portion, and an outermost end disposed at a position flush with corresponding ones of the outermost ones of the finger lines or a position outwards of the corresponding outermost finger lines.
Double-glass photovoltaic assembly
A double-glass photovoltaic assembly includes a laminate member, a junction box, and a first frame and a second frame disposed only at two long sides of the laminate member. The laminate member includes a cover plate glass, a first encapsulation adhesive film, a battery string, a second encapsulation adhesive film, a back plate glass, and a busbar. A through-hole is provided at the back plate glass. An end of the busbar is connected to the battery string. Another end of the busbar passes through the through-hole, and is bent to form a bent edge to be connected to the junction box. The bent edge of the busbar does not contact an edge of the through-hole. The double-glass photovoltaic assembly adopting a double-frame design can meet the requirements of load capacity.
SLICED CELL PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE
Disclosed is a sliced cell photovoltaic module, comprising one or more cell units connected in series, wherein each cell unit comprises one cell string sequence or a plurality of cell string sequences connected in series or in parallel; each cell string sequence comprises one cell string or a plurality of cell strings connected in parallel by means of a bus bar; and each cell string comprises a plurality of small cell slices connected in series by means of connection materials; the spacing between the plurality of small cell slices is −2 to 5 mm, wherein each small cell slice is one of 2-8 independent small cell slices obtained by means of laser cutting a solar cell with a size of 156*156 to 300*300, etc.; each small cell slice has a positive electrode and a back electrode; and the positions of each positive electrode and each back electrode are superposed with each other or are respectively at the edges of two ends of the small cell slice. According to the photovoltaic module of the present application, the module power is greatly improved, and a sharp increase in a short-circuit current of the module cannot be caused, such that the power loss cannot be increased, and a potential failure risk, caused by an increase in a rated current of a junction box, of the module can also be avoided.
PHOTOVOLTAIC DEVICES AND METHODS OF MAKING
Photovoltaic devices, and methods of making the same, are described. A photovoltaic device comprises a plurality of electrically connected photovoltaic cells, wherein the photovoltaic cells comprise a conducting layer having a first surface and a second surface, the first surface facing an absorber layer; an insulating material disposed on the second surface over at least one of the photovoltaic cells; a conductive member on the insulating material, wherein the insulating material is configured to electrically insulate the conductive member from the second surface; a bus member electrically coupled to the one of the plurality of photovoltaic cells and to the conductive member; and an edge seal comprising a sealant material extending over at least a portion of the one of the plurality of photovoltaic cells; wherein the bus member is disposed between the edge seal and the plurality of photovoltaic cells.
Solar module having a plurality of strings configured from a five strip cell
In an example, the present invention provides a method of manufacturing a solar module. The method includes providing a substrate member having a surface region, the surface region comprising a spatial region, a first end strip comprising a first edge region and a first interior region, the first interior region comprising a first bus bar, a plurality of strips, a second end strip comprising a second edge region and a second interior region, the second edge region comprising a second bus bar, the first end strip, the plurality of strips, and the second end strip arranged in parallel to each other and occupying the spatial region such that the first end strip, the second end strip, and the plurality of strips consists of a total number of five (5) strips. The method includes separating each of the plurality of strips, arranging the plurality of strips in a string configuration, and using the string in the solar module.

The photovoltaic apparatus further includes a back sheet (210) having a first portion (2101), a second portion (2102), and a first folded portion (2103), where the second portion of the front sheet is disposed between the second portion of the back sheet and the first folded portion of the back sheet. The photovoltaic apparatus further includes one or more photovoltaic devices (100) disposed between the first portion of the front sheet and the first portion of the back sheet, where each of the one or more photovoltaic devices includes an array of photovoltaic cells (105).

The disclosure provides an electrode structure of a back contact cell, a back contact cell, a back contact cell module, and a back contact cell system. The electrode structure includes: first fingers, configured to collect a first polarity region; second fingers, configured to collect a second polarity region; a first busbar, disposed on a side of the back contact cell close to a first edge and connected to the first fingers; first pad points; and first connection electrodes, respectively connected to the first busbar and the first pad points. A distance between each of the first pad points and the first edge is greater than a distance between the first busbar and the first edge. The electrode structure can improve the reliability, reduce the costs, increase the product yield, and ensure excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency.

Discussed is a solar cell including a semiconductor substrate having an inclined part; first and second conductivity type regions formed at or on one surface of the semiconductor substrate; a first electrode connected to the first conductivity type region on the one surface of the semiconductor substrate; and a second electrode connected to the second conductivity type region on the one surface of the semiconductor substrate. At least one of the first and second electrodes includes a finger part including a plurality of inner finger parts extending in a first direction, and a plurality of outer finger parts extending in the first direction adjacent to an edge of the semiconductor substrate; and a connection part connecting at least some of the plurality of outer finger parts on one side of the semiconductor substrate adjacent to the inclined part.

A system for wafer processing, includes: a frame comprising a frame opening; and a membrane configured to couple to the frame and to cover at least a part of the frame opening, the membrane comprising a membrane opening, wherein the membrane opening has a membrane opening area that is equal to or less than a frame opening area of the frame opening; wherein the membrane is configured for coupling with the wafer, wherein when the wafer is coupled with the membrane, the wafer covers the membrane opening, and wherein the membrane is configured to maintain the wafer at a certain position with respect to the frame; and wherein the membrane opening area is less than a total area of the wafer.
