FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell; a first valve device provided at an oxidation gas supply channel; a second valve device provided at an oxidation off-gas discharge channel; a third valve device provided at a bypass channel; an abnormality detection unit configured to detect an abnormality; and a control unit. The control unit causes the fuel cell to initiate fail-safe power generation if (i) a different abnormality from a valve opening abnormality is detected in the first valve device, (ii) the different abnormality is detected in the second valve device, or (iii) any abnormality is detected in the third valve device. During the fail-safe power generation, if any abnormality is additionally detected in any valve device different from the valve device in which an abnormality is already detected, the control unit stops power generation by the fuel cell.
VEHICLE CONTROL APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING FUEL CELL SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
The vehicle control apparatus identifies a fuel cell module in which an error occurs among fuel cell modules included in the fuel cell system and an error type, stops the fuel cell module in which the error occurs, except for a case where the same error consecutively occurs in the same fuel cell module among the fuel cell modules, and operates the fuel cell module, in which the error occurs, again.
Redox flow battery system and method for operating redox flow battery system
A redox flow battery system includes a cell that performs charging and discharging between the cell and a power system, a tank that stores an electrolyte supplied to the cell, a circulation pump that circulates the electrolyte between the cell and the tank, a power converter disposed between the cell and the power system, and a charge/discharge control unit that controls an operation of the power converter to control charging and discharging of the cell. When the charge/discharge control unit detects power failure in the power system, the charge/discharge control unit controls the power converter such that power of the electrolyte remaining in the cell is supplied to the circulation pump.
FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A controller of a fuel cell system detects catalytic layer deterioration and drainage malfunction by the following inspection process. The controller may: execute drainage of water from a fuel cell, and acquire first/second output voltages of the fuel cell when an output current density of the fuel cell is a first reference current density A1/A2 (A2>A1). When the first output voltage is lower than a first threshold voltage and the second output voltage is higher than a second threshold voltage, the controller may output a first determination signal indicating that the catalytic layer is deteriorated and the drainage is executed without malfunction. When the first output voltage is higher than the first threshold voltage and the second output voltage is lower than the second threshold voltage, the controller may output a second determination signal indicating that the catalytic layer is not deteriorated and the drainage is executed with malfunction.
Method for controlling fuel cell vehicle
A method for controlling a fuel cell vehicle including a fuel cell to generate electric power via an electrochemical reaction between fuel gas and oxidant gas, the method includes determining whether the fuel cell vehicle is in a fuel supply state in which the fuel gas is supplied from an outside of the fuel cell vehicle into a fuel storage chamber via a filling lid box of the fuel cell vehicle. It is determined that the fuel gas does not leak, even if a fuel gas detector provided in the filling lid box detects the fuel gas when the fuel cell vehicle is in the fuel supply state.
Cell-monitoring connector and fuel cell having structure for detachably mounting the cell-monitoring connector thereon
A fuel cell having a structure for detachably mounting a cell-monitoring connector thereon includes separators arranged to be spaced apart from each other in a first direction, each of the separators including a receiving recess arranged in one side thereof, and hook-shaped gaskets respectively disposed on the separators and located around the receiving recess. The cell-monitoring connector includes a housing, at least a portion of the housing being received in a receiving space defined by the receiving recess, and connection terminals inserted into the housing to be connected to the separators. The housing includes a body inserted into the receiving space in a second direction that intersects the first direction, and a lever portion including a latching protrusion configured to be latched to or separated from a corresponding gasket among the hook-shaped gaskets by a pressing operation.
Control device, electric power supply device, work machine, control method, and computer readable recording medium
An electric power supply device supplies electric power to a work machine having an electric power source. The electric power supply device includes a fuel cell different from the electric power source and an electric power connecting section for transferring electric power between the electric power source and the electric power supply device. A control device for controlling the electric power supply device includes a rated capability obtaining section for obtaining the information indicating the rated value of the charge and discharge capability of the electric power source of the work machine in response to the electric power supply device being mounted in the work machine or the electric power supply device being able to utilize the electric power of the electric power source, and an operating condition determining section for determining the operating condition of the electric power supply device based on the rated value.
System and method for controlling operation of fuel cell system
A system and method for controlling operation of a fuel cell system, includes determining whether there is a risk of flooding by confirming whether the fuel cell system satisfies a predetermined flooding risk condition, and performing air supercharging by supplying air at a flow rate increased compared to an air supply demand to fuel cells of the fuel cell system, when the controller confirms that the fuel cell system satisfies the flooding risk condition.
FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell and a secondary battery used as power sources of a power supply target object, and a control device for controlling driving of the power supply target object. The control device determines whether a predetermined condition required for activation of the fuel cell is satisfied, permits a battery-driven mode in which the power supply target object is driven using only the secondary battery when the predetermined condition is satisfied, and prohibits the battery-driven mode when the predetermined condition is not satisfied.
