FUEL CELL CONTROL METHOD AND FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A fuel cell control method includes detecting a state value indicating a state in a fuel cell during an operation of the fuel cell. The fuel cell includes a membrane electrode assembly and a separator stacked on the membrane electrode assembly. The membrane electrode assembly includes a solid polymer electrolyte membrane sandwiched between an anode electrode and a cathode electrode. It is determined whether a liquid connects the solid polymer electrolyte membrane and the separator based on the state value detected. The fuel cell is dried in a case where it is determined that the liquid connects the solid polymer electrolyte membrane and the separator.
Control device of fuel cell, fuel cell system and control method of fuel cell
A fuel cell has an electrolyte membrane of 5 to 10 μm in thickness. A control device for this fuel cell comprises: a controller configured to control an amount of power generation by the fuel cell according to a required amount of electric power; and a power generation reducer configured to reduce the amount of power generation by the fuel cell at a humidity of an electrolyte membrane of 95 to 98% RH to be lower than the amount of power generation at the humidity of the electrolyte membrane of lower than 95% RH.
Fuel cell humidification device and fuel cell motorcycle
There is provided a fuel cell humidification device of a fuel cell motorcycle. When a fuel cell managing device demands to perform a humidification treatment for humidifying an electrolyte film of an air-cooled type solid polymer fuel cell or the humidification treatment is being performed, a humidification permission deciding portion decides whether an inclination of the fuel cell motorcycle is equal to or greater than an inclination threshold, and then permits to perform or continue to perform the humidification treatment if the inclination is not equal to or greater than the inclination threshold, and does not permit to perform or continue to perform the humidification treatment if the inclination is equal to or greater than the inclination threshold.
HUMIDIFIER FOR FUEL CELL
A humidifier for a fuel cell includes: a housing that includes a moist air supply port through which moist air is supplied, a moist air discharge port through which the moist air is discharged, and an inflow gas supply port through which inflow gas is supplied; a humidification unit provided in the housing to humidify the inflow gas by using the moist air; and a humidification amount adjusting unit to selectively adjust an amount of humidification of the inflow gas by the humidification unit based on a flow rate of the moist air supplied to the moist air supply port, thereby obtaining an advantageous effect of accurately adjusting the amount of humidification based on an operating condition of a fuel cell stack.
Fuel cell system and method for inferring wet state of fuel cell
Provided is a fuel cell system including: a fuel cell; a reactant gas supply section; a converter; an alternating-current superimposing unit; a phase difference deriving unit configured to derive a phase difference that is a phase lag of an alternating-current voltage relative to an alternating current in an alternating-current component output from the fuel cell; and a first inference unit. The first inference unit infers that the fuel cell is in an inappropriate wet state, when the absolute value of an amount of change in the phase difference has become equal to or larger than a predetermined criterion value immediately after the magnitude of a change in the value of at least one of parameters that are a flow rate of a reactant gas, a stoichiometric ratio, and an output current has exceeded a predetermined criterion.
Fuel cell system
A fuel cell system wherein the fuel cell comprises an electrolyte membrane; wherein the electrolyte membrane is a perfluorosulfonic acid (PFSA) membrane; wherein the controller has a data group showing a correlation between the current of the fuel cell and the temperature of the fuel cell which is necessary to keep a moisture content of the electrolyte membrane at a predetermined moisture content threshold or more; and wherein, when the temperature and voltage of the fuel cell become a predetermined first temperature threshold or more and a predetermined voltage threshold or more, respectively, the controller conducts a temperature dropping time power generation mode in which power generation is conducted while controlling the current of the fuel cell with reference to the data group, until the temperature of the fuel cell becomes a predetermined second temperature threshold which is lower than the first temperature threshold.
