Non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery
A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: an electrode group including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; a tape for securing at least a wound end of the electrode group; and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode, at least in a charged state, includes a lithium metal and/or a lithium alloy. The tape has a tensile strength of 20 N/10 mm or less at an elongation ratio of 200% or more.
BATTERY PACK AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A method of manufacturing a battery pack including the creation of a support board for enabling conversion of the battery pack from providing a first voltage to providing a second voltage. The support board is created by injection molding about a precut set of power traces for coupling a converting element to a plurality of battery cells. The power traces couple the plurality of battery cells to a set of battery pack terminals. The support board may be mechanically coupled to a battery cell holder.
Battery module constant current relay control systems and methods
A battery module comprising a housing, a venting assembly, a plurality of battery cells disposed in the housing, a printed circuit configured to control operations of the battery module, a vent chamber of the venting assembly, and a lid including the venting assembly. Each of the plurality of battery cells comprises a battery cell vent for venting gases from within the corresponding battery cell upward in a direction of the printed circuit. The vent chamber is disposed between the plurality of battery cells and the printed circuit. The vent chamber is configured to direct the gases vented from the battery cell vent toward an opening for venting the gases from the battery module. The lid is disposed over the plurality of battery cells and holds the printed circuit above the plurality of battery cells.
SOLID-STATE RELAY DEDICATED RECIRCULATION PATH SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed is a battery system comprising a solid-state relay assembly comprising a device-side driver circuitry having a device-side switching device, a battery-side driver circuitry having a battery-side switching device, a first recirculation driver circuitry, a first recirculation switching device, a second recirculation switching device, and a second recirculation driver circuitry.
Method and system for binding battery devices to carrier devices
A system for battery binding includes a service end electronic device, at least one battery device and at least one carrier device. The service end electronic device is configured to send a carrier identifier corresponding to a carrier device to a battery device for storage therein in order to bind the battery device to the carrier device.
Battery pack and battery charger system
A battery pack and charger system includes a first battery pack having a first set of battery cells and configured to provide only a first operating voltage and a second battery pack having a second set of battery cells and configured to provide the first operating voltage and a second operating voltage that is different from the first operating voltage and a battery pack charger configured to be able to charge the first battery pack and the second battery pack.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
A rechargeable battery includes: a case accommodating an electrode assembly and having an opening; a cap assembly including a cap plate coupled to the case to cover the opening, and a terminal plate coupled to the cap plate; and a direction determining member covering the cap plate and coupled to the case to define an extended part.
Connection module and electricity storage module
Erroneous identification of parts is prevented. A connection module disclosed in the present specification is a connection module that is to be attached to an electricity storage element group in which a plurality of electricity storage elements each including positive and negative electrode terminals are arranged. The connection module includes: a plurality of busbars configured to connect the electrode terminals of the adjacent electricity storage elements to each other; and an insulating protector configured to be fixed to the electricity storage element group in a state in which the insulating protector holds the plurality of busbars, wherein the insulating protector is formed by a first protector and a second protector that is separate from the first protector, the first protector is provided with a first identifier, and the second protector is provided with a second identifier that is different from the first identifier.
Convertible battery pack
A multi-voltage battery pack including a converting system for converting the battery pack between a low voltage configuration and a high voltage configuration. The converting system includes a converter element moves between a first position and a second position to configure the battery pack between the low voltage configuration and the high voltage configuration. The converter element includes a set of contacts that mates with a set of contact pads to establish the voltage configuration.
Battery module
A battery module having a housing (15) including a plurality of cavities (16), each receiving a housing-element assembly (1) having: a) an electrochemical element (2) with a cylindrical container and two current output terminals (3, 4) disposed on a wall of one of the ends of the container, at least one of the two current output terminals being electrically connected to an electrical connection bar (5); b) a housing (6) in the form of a tube for receiving the electrochemical element, the housing electrically insulating the electrochemical element and having one or more indexing members (7, 8); c) a housing cover (9) provided with a means (10) for causing the electrochemical element to rotate about its longitudinal axis.
