Antenna module
An antenna module is configured to be attached to a ceiling of a vehicle, the antenna module including an antenna and a magnetic body including a pair of walls spaced apart from each other. The antenna is accommodated between the pair of walls. The magnetic body may be disposed on the ceiling of the vehicle such that the magnetic body shields a magnetic field generated by the antenna and directed toward a window of the vehicle.
Door handle with means for reducing ultra-high-frequency communication radiation
A handle for a motor vehicle opening, equipped with an ultra-high-frequency antenna having a device for transmitting and receiving a signal at a predetermined wavelength, with a device for detecting the approach of and/or contact by a user, with a printed circuit board and with at least one connecting cable intended for electrically connecting the printed circuit board to an electronic control unit. The at least one connecting cable has a section either projecting from the remainder of the at least one connecting cable or surrounded by an electromagnetically insulating coating coaxial with the at least one connecting cable, a length of the projecting section or a length of the coaxial coating being equal to one quarter of said predetermined wavelength with a tolerance of +/−20%.
Trunk Lid for Closing a Trunk of a Notchback Motor Vehicle and Motor Vehicle
A trunk lid for closing a trunk of a notchback motor vehicle includes at least one inner part having a receiving space for at least one antenna of the motor vehicle and at least one outer cladding part connected to the inner part. The outer cladding part is formed of a material that is permeable to radio waves at least in a region where radio waves are to pass through. A notchback motor vehicle includes the truck lid.
Vehicle door handle
A vehicle door handle for a motor vehicle is described, which includes an integrated transmitting and/or receiving device which comprises an LF antenna and a separately formed NFC antenna. The NFC antenna has a plurality of windings provided on a circuit board. The LF antenna has a plurality of coils wound around a core material formed separately from the circuit board. The NFC antenna encompasses a projection of the LF antenna on the circuit board.
EMBLEM ARRANGEMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An emblem arrangement for a motor vehicle has an emblem support part, an element forming a brand emblem, and at least one luminous element for illuminating the emblem arrangement. The element forming the brand emblem is a layered structure having at least two layers, which layered structure has, when viewed in a plan view of the emblem arrangement, translucent and non-translucent regions. The translucent regions are able to depict the shape of the brand emblem in its entirety or wherein the translucent regions are able to depict merely the contour of the brand emblem.
Passive entry/passive start systems implementing carrier phase based ranging with music style eigenvalue decomposition for distance determinations
An access system for a vehicle is provided. The access system includes antennas and an access module. The antennas are configured to each receive a signal transmitted from a portable access device to the vehicle. The signal is transmitted on a 2.4 gigahertz frequency. The access module is configured to: downconvert the received signal to generate an in-phase signal and a quadrature phase signal; perform carrier phase based ranging including implementing a music algorithm to (i) determine a distance between the portable access device and the vehicle, and (ii) determine angles of arrival of the received signal as received at the antennas; determine a location of the portable access device relative to the vehicle based on the distance and the angles of arrival; and permit access to the vehicle based on the location.
ANTENNA DEVICE
An antenna device includes: multiple H-bridge circuits each of which including a first switch set and a second switch set connected in parallel with one another; a single connection antenna element connected between a point disposed between the two switching elements of the first switch set included in one H-bridge circuit and a point disposed between the two switching elements of the second switch set included in the one H-bridge circuit; and a multiple connection antenna element connected between a point disposed between the two switching elements of the first switch set included in the one H-bridge circuit and a point disposed between the two switching elements of the second switch set included in a different H-bridge circuit.
Passive entry/passive start systems implementing music algorithm based angle of arrival determinations for signals received via circular polarized antennas
An access system for a vehicle is provided and includes antennas and an access module. The antennas are configured to each receive a signal transmitted from a portable access device to the vehicle. One of the antennas is a circular polarized antenna. The access module is configured to: downconvert the received signal to generate an in-phase signal and a quadrature phase signal; execute a music algorithm to determine angles of arrival of the received signal as received at the antennas; determine a distance between the portable access device and the vehicle based on the angles of arrival; and permit access to the vehicle based on the distance.
Coil antenna
A coil antenna having a capacitor that is not separated from a metal terminal or an electrode of a mounting substrate even when a root portion of a bobbin around which a coil is wound is bent by an external force. The coil antenna includes a bobbin; a coil wound around the bobbin; a capacitor connected to the coil; a base made of an insulating material formed integrally with the bobbin; and a mounting substrate having a plate shape with a pair of electrodes formed on a surface of the mounting substrate extended from the base for mounting the capacitor, such that the mounting substrate is held in a cantilevered manner in a winding direction of the coil.
