BEACON NETWORK, MOVING-OBJECT POSITIONING SYSTEM, AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A beacon network includes a plurality of beacons arranged at predetermined positions to periodically or intermittently emit a signal wave including identification information, and a radio wave absorber to adjust an emission angle of the signal wave emitted from at least one of the plurality of beacons.
Method for determining a phase bias in the signal transmitted by at least one of the radiating elements of an active antenna, and associated device
A method for determining a phase bias in the signal transmitted by at least one of the radiating elements of an active antenna on the ground emitting signals into space using a space-division multiple access SDMA method, implementing a step, for each reference receiver, of comparing, to a threshold, the difference between the value of a measurement of the power received by each reference receiver and the sum, out of the radiating elements of the subset beamforming in the direction of the reference receiver, of the differences between the equivalent isotropically radiated power in the direction of the reference receiver and the free-space path loss of each radiating element of the subset.
Dual-polarization phased antenna arrays
An electronic device may include a phased antenna array mounted in a conductive cavity for conveying radio-frequency signals above 10 GHz. The cavity may include sidewalls extending from a rear wall. The array may include rectangular patches each having first and second perpendicular edges. Each of the first edges in the array may be aligned with a first axis. Each of the second edges in the array may be aligned with a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. The first and second axes may be oriented at 45 degrees with respect to each of the sidewalls of the cavity. Each patch may be fed using first and second positive antenna feed terminals that cover orthogonal linear polarizations. The cavity may prevent interference while symmetrically loading the impedance of both the first and second positive antenna feed terminals in each patch.
MILLIMETER-WAVE DETECT OR REFLECT ARRAY
A device for selectively reflecting an incident microwave signal or millimeter-wave signal includes multiple antennae disposed in an array. Each antenna has an input adapted to selectively receive a forward bias signal or a zero bias signal. The device also includes a diode disposed at each input of each antenna. The device also includes a switching device connected to each input, and configured to selectively apply a forward bias or zero bias to each of the diodes. In forward bias, each of the antennae detects the incident microwave signal or millimeter wave signal, and in zero bias, each of the antennae reflects the incident microwave signal or millimeter wave signal.
MULTI-ANTENNA MODULE AND MOBILE TERMINAL
A multi-antenna module includes, on or in the dielectric substrate, a first radiation element, a second radiation element that operates at a frequency band lower than that of the first radiation element, and a ground plane. A first feed line and a second feed line are provided on or in the dielectric substrate. A first switch element switches between a first state in which a signal is supplied to the second radiation element and a second state including at least one of a state in which the second radiation element is connected to the ground plane with terminal impedance interposed therebetween, a state in which the second radiation element is in a floating state with respect to the second feed line and the ground plane, and a state in which the second radiation element is short-circuited to the ground plane.
MULTI-BEAM ANTENNA USING HIGHER-ORDER MODES
Disclosed is an array antenna comprising a plurality of array elements. The plurality of array elements are formed as a coupler including a central element and peripheral elements configured to surround the central element; each of the central element and the peripheral elements is formed as a waveguide; and the peripheral elements are excited in higher-order modes using coupling slots to form a beam pattern through an electric field distribution of the central element and the peripheral elements.
Active Antenna Steering for Network Security
The disclosure concerns wireless communication systems, including, antenna systems and related methods, which are each directed to utilizing one or more multi-mode antennas for the purpose of varying a radiation pattern characteristic thereof to enhance network security and communication link between an access point and one or more client devices on a network.

Antenna And Device With Such An Antenna
An antenna for inductively transmitting information and/or energy, in particular a hearing aid antenna, has a foil-like antenna base body that has a central coil core section that holds a first coil, and outer antenna sections arranged opposite one another on both sides of the central coil core section. The outer antenna sections respectively have an edge-side coil core section that adjoins the central coil core section and holds a second coil. The outer antenna sections are at an angle relative to the central coil core section. There is also described a device, in particular a hearing device, which is preferably a hearing aid, with such an antenna.
