SHIELDED TERMINAL
The present invention prevents a cover from being incorrectly installed with respect to an external conductor. This shielded terminal is provided with: an external conductor (20) that has a connection space (28) which is between a pair of side walls (26), and which is open to the outside via a first opening (31) and a second opening (32); a shielded electric cable (70) that is connected to the external conductor (20); an internal conductor (11) that is housed in the external conductor (20) and that is connected to a core wire (71) of the shielded electric cable (70) in the connection space (28); and a cover (50) that is installed inside the connection space (28) from the first opening (31) and that surrounds the part at which the core wire (71) and the internal conductor (11) are connected, wherein an interference part (34) that interferes with the cover (50) is formed on the opening edge part of the second opening (32).
CONNECTOR-EQUIPPED WIRE AND CONNECTOR HOUSING
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a feature making it easy to accommodate a terminal-equipped wire in a connector housing. This connector-equipped wire is provided with: a terminal-equipped wire comprising a jacketed wire and a terminal component that is provided to an end part of the jacketed wire; and a connector housing comprising a body component where a cavity has been formed and a cover component mounted onto the body component. A distal end part of the terminal component is accommodated in the cavity. A rear end part of the terminal component protrudes out to outside the cavity, and is covered by the cover component or by the cover component and the body component. In the state where the rear end part of the terminal component protrudes out to outside the cavity, the cover component can be mounted onto the body component in accordance with a sliding movement in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the cavity.
CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF SHIELDED TERMINAL AND SHIELDED ELECTRICAL WIRE
A connection structure of a shielded terminal 10 and a shielded electrical wire 60 includes a shielded electrical wire 60 including a shield layer 63; and a shielded terminal 10 including an outer conductor 20 connected to the shield layer 63, wherein the outer conductor 20 is formed by assembling a first shell 21 including an electrical wire connection portion 30, 31, 32 that comes into contact with an outer circumference of the shield layer 63, and a second shell 22 including a compression bonding portion 44 that is crimped to an outer circumference of the electrical wire connection portion 30, 31, 32, and a catch portion 36 that catches on an outer circumferential surface of the shield layer 63 is formed in the electrical wire connection portion 30, 31, 32.
Electrical male terminal
An electrical male terminal of this invention includes a clamp or crimp area, a main body, and a blade. Protruding members and support members of the main body act as overstress protection. A panel shield member protects a protruding guide member. In another embodiment of this invention, a protruding member extends from a first support member of the main body, and a cut-out portion at the lower portion of the main body accommodates therein the protruding member to prevent the tang member from inadvertently or accidentally rotating relative to the lower portion of the main body. Furthermore, in this another embodiment of the electrical male terminal of this invention, a protrusion extends from the unattached end portion of the lever member for allowing the lever member to deflect upward when the protruding member of the unattached end portion interacts with an internal protrusion of a housing or connector assembly, thereby making it more difficult to remove the electrical male terminal from the housing or connector assembly, thereby protecting the electrical male terminal from inadvertently falling out during use.
Method for Crimping an Electrical Cable and Electrical Cable
A method for crimping an electrical cable with a shielding braid and an insulation enclosing the shielding braid includes removing the insulation at a predetermined area to expose an exposed portion of the shielding braid. The method includes crimping an inner crimp sleeve onto the insulation adjacent to the predetermined area and then bending back the exposed portion of the shielding braid at least sectionally over the inner crimp sleeve.
Induction heater and dispenser
An induction heating device for heating and/or melting a heat affected product zone of shaving or cosmetic products stored in a product container which consists of a layer of the product heated by an electrically conductive metallic target member having through-passages overlying the top product surface and energized by an induction coil into which an electromagnet field is generated by electronic circuitry for a predetermined time period into the product container, thereby permitting the heated and or melted product to flow through the through-passages onto the top surface of the target member to be collected by a user for shaving or cosmetic purposes.
TERMINAL-EQUIPPED ELECTRIC WIRE AND CONNECTOR-EQUIPPED ELECTRIC WIRE
It is an object to provide a technique with which the length of a portion of a terminal-equipped electric wire disposed in a cavity of a connector housing can be shortened. A terminal-equipped electric wire including: a coated electric wire including a conductor core wire and an insulation coating that covers the conductor core wire; a joint terminal connected to the conductor core wire; a connector terminal to be connected to a partner terminal; a single-core relay conductor in which one end thereof is connected to the joint terminal and another end thereof is connected to the connector terminal; and a sealing member that covers an intermediate portion of the relay conductor. A wire barrel of the joint terminal is crimped to the conductor core wire and the relay conductor at the same position in a longitudinal direction of the joint terminal.
RESIN-MOLDED STATOR, OUTER ROTOR-TYPE MOTOR, AIR BLOWER, AND AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS
In resin molding, potting to be conducted with a male terminal bonded to a female terminal increases costs and processes. A resin-molded stator includes a coil, a female terminal, a male terminal, and an insulator. The female terminal includes a female terminal connection portion and a spring portion. The male terminal includes a male terminal connection portion, a wire connection portion, and a second surface contact portion. The insulator accommodates the female terminal connection portion, the spring portion, and the male terminal connection portion, and electrically connects the male terminal to the female terminal. The second surface contact portion faces a second surface of the insulator wall.
Wire harness, method of connecting terminal and coated wire, and mold
The height (F) of a protruding portion (7) is less than the thickness of a crimping portion (5) before crimping. If the height of the protruding portion (7) is greater than the thickness of the crimping portion, then a recess is prone to form in the inner surface of the crimping portion (5). In other words, because there is more metal flowing outwards, a recess corresponding to the metal flow is prone to form on the inner surface side. If such a recess does form, adhesion with a covered area (27) is likely to deteriorate. This is problematic because such a gap would be a path allowing the ingress of moisture. On the other hand, if the height of the protruding portion (7) is less than the thickness of the crimping portion (5) before crimping, then when the crimping portion (5) is compressed during crimping, the amount of metal flowing towards the protruding portion (7) diminishes, making it possible to suppress the formation of a receding portion on the inner surface of the crimping portion (5).
Terminal fitting and method of manufacturing wire with terminal
A wire connection part of a terminal fitting includes: a barrel piece which is caulked while covering a tip end of a wire, thereby being crimped to the wire; a serration part formed on an inner surface of the barrel piece and connected to a core of the wire; and a water stop part mounted on the inner surface of the barrel piece to close a gap with the wire. A projecting piece mounted anterior to the serration part to position a tip end of the core is mounted to the barrel piece. The tip end of the core is positioned by the projecting piece, whereby the positional deviation of the wire can be prevented.
