A connecting structure uses a crimp terminal to connect a bus bar and an electrical wire together. The crimp terminal includes a bus bar-connecting section to be crimped to the bus bar, and an electrical wire-connecting section to be crimped to an end of the electrical wire. At least one of the bus bar-connecting section and the electrical wire-connecting section is provided with an oxide film breaking means for breaking an oxide film on the bus bar or a core wire on the end of the electrical wire.

Accordingly, it is possible to prevent deformation of the lead terminal.

The connecting portion has a bottom wall portion and a pair of side wall portions which extend in a height direction of the crimp terminal from end portions of the bottom wall portion in a width direction.

A connection terminal includes a tubular electrical connection portion into which a mating connection portion of a mating terminal is inserted. The electrical connection portion is provided with an elastic piece with a first contact portion and an opposing wall disposed opposite to the elastic piece. The opposing wall includes: second contact portions disposed on a front side and a rear side in an insertion direction of the mating connection portion, and projecting toward an elastic piece side; and a curved surface located between the second contact portions and curved so as to be separated from the mating connection portion. The curved surface includes a first curved surface located on the rear side in the insertion direction and a second curved surface located on the front side in the insertion direction. A curvature of the second curved surface is set larger than a curvature of the first curved surface.

A method of manufacturing a terminal-attached electric wire includes: installing an electric wire including a core wire including a plurality of element wires to a terminal having a conductor coupling part having a pair of barrel pieces, the core wire being installed between the pair of barrel pieces; bending the pair of barrel pieces to cause the pair of barrel pieces to wrap around and cover the core wire in a circumferential direction to form a slit extending in an axial direction between the pair of barrel pieces, with respect to the circumferential direction; melting the element wires of the core wire by emitting laser light toward the core wire through the slit; and adhering the element wires melted with the laser light to the conductor coupling part.

TERMINAL MEMBER ASSEMBLY

A terminal member assembly 1 has ground terminals (10A, 10B) each including a main body (20) in the form of a flat plate. A coupling (30) extends from the main body (20) and a wire connecting portion (40) is connected to an extending end of the coupling (30). The ground terminals (10A, 10B) are assembled with each other with the main bodies (20) overlapping each other. At least one (10A) of the ground terminals includes an overlap area (30A) to be overlapped with the coupling (30) of the other ground terminal (10B). The overlap area is located on a surface of the coupling (30) facing the adjacent other ground terminal (10B). A contact portion (36) is located in the overlap area (30A) and projects toward the coupling (30) of the other ground terminal (10B) and is configured to contact the coupling (30) of the other ground terminal (10B).

TERMINAL FITTING

A terminal fitting (T) connects a plurality of wires (40) by a plurality of terminal fittings being connected to end parts of the wires (40) and held in contact, and includes a wire connecting portion (10) to be connected to the end part of the wire (40), a tubular portion (11) having a tubular shape and a shaft (12) fittable inside the tubular portion (11). The terminal fittings are held in contact by fitting the tubular portion (12) and the shaft (12) together. The tubular portion (11) or the shaft (12) is provided with an arcuate portion configured to enable the rotation of each of the tubular portion and the shaft-shaped portion about an axis in a state where the tubular portion and the shaft-shaped portion are fit together.

A terminal fitting includes a terminal body and a plurality of terminal connection sections. A connection terminal is connected to an electric wire. The connection terminal has a holding space defined by a pair of fastening caulking pieces provided on both side sections of the connection terminal and upper end sections of the pair of fastening caulking pieces which are folded back inwardly. A pair of caulked pieces is provided so as to stand upright on both side sections of the terminal connection section and is configured to be accommodated in the holding space. A provisional engaging mechanism that is detachably engaged with the pair of fastening caulking pieces when the pair of caulked pieces is accommodated in the holding space and is provided between the pair of caulked pieces and the pair of fastening caulking pieces.
