High contact density electrical connector
An electrical connector for connecting a pair of leads to a double-sided printed circuit board includes a housing having a receiving slot receiving the double-sided printed circuit board and a lead insertion chamber, and a pair of contact springs disposed on opposite sides of the receiving slot and electrically insulated from each other. The contact springs extend into the lead insertion chamber. Each contact spring has a lead contact for connection to a different lead of the pair of leads.
Cable connector
A cable connector includes a conductive terminal having a positioning wall and a piercing wall. The piercing wall can pierce an outer insulating sheath of a thin cable to be electrically connected to an inner core of the cable. The positioning wall can position the thin cable to reduce bending or dislocation of the thin cable caused by a force and thus minimize pulling of the core. This ensures electrical connection between the piercing wall and the core of the thin cable, and also prevents the core from being damaged or broken by any pulling force.

Contact and Connector
A contact includes a base portion, a cold-weld portion extending upward from the base portion and having a cold-weld slot into which an electric wire is configured to be cold-welded, a trailing portion extending downward by being folded back downward from an upper end of the cold-weld portion, and a contact portion extending from a lower end of the trailing portion. The trailing portion has a press-fitted portion below the cold-weld slot that is press-fitted into the housing. The contact portion makes contact with a mating contact by receiving the mating contact in a space between the contact portion and the base portion.
Connector and package body
A connector and a package body that can be transported without exposing a filler to the outside and can stably deliver predetermined performance during use are provided. A connector (10) comprises: a pair of a first fitting object (16) and a second fitting object (30); a first opening (29) and a second opening (44) formed respectively in the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30) and opened to a fitting side; and a filler (70) provided inside at least one fitting object of the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30), wherein, before the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30) are fitted together, the filler (70) is located inside of an opening of a corresponding fitting object, and an end surface of the second fitting object (30) on the fitting side forms a plane.
INSULATION DISPLACEMENT CONTACT WITH EXPANDED WIRE RANGE CAPACITY
An insulation displacement arms. The insulation displacement arms define a conductor or wire receiving slot. The insulation displacement arms have insulation stripping sections, weakened sections and base sections. The weakened sections have weakened section widths which are less than insulation stripping section widths of the insulation stripping sections and less than base section widths of the base section. The weakened sections are resiliently deformed upon one or more insulated conductors engaging the insulation stripping sections of the insulation displacement arms as the one or more insulated conductors are inserted into the insulation stripping zone of the wire receiving slot, allowing the insulation displacement contact to accommodate the one or more insulated conductors of the same type and gauge chosen from a broad range of gauges.
Connector
Provided is a connector capable of sufficiently preventing a foreign matter from entering from outside by preventing a decrease in compressibility of a filler. A connector (10) according to this disclosure is a connector configured to cut an insulating sheath of a cable by a press-contact groove. The connector includes: a pair of a first fitting object (16) and a second fitting object (30) capable of being fitted together; a contact (50) provided in the first fitting object (16) or the second fitting object (30) and having a press-contact groove; a wall portion (44) provided in at least one of the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30) and opposing the contact (50) when the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30) are fitted together; and a filler (70) provided in at least one of the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30), wherein the wall portion (44) is clamped by the filler (70) and the contact (50) when the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30) are fitted together.
