A connection terminal for connecting an electrical wire includes: a housing having an insertion opening into which the electrical wire is insertable for connection to the connection terminal; a contact element arranged on the housing, the contact element electrically contacting the electrical wire; a spring element arranged on the housing, the spring element having a clamping portion for interacting with the electrical wire to bring the electrical wire into contact with the contact element; an actuation element pivotally arranged on the housing, the actuation element being movable from a non-actuated position into an actuated position so as to move the clamping portion; and a release element having a supporting end arranged to be stationary relative to the housing and a release portion elastically movable relative to the supporting end. The actuation element engages the release element when in the actuated position to hold the actuation element in the actuated position.

Plug-in terminal, plug connector and row of plug connectors

A plug-in terminal for the connection of one or more conductor ends has a housing made of an electrically non-conductive material. The housing includes at least one insertion opening for a respective conductor end. Each insertion opening extends to a respective housing chamber containing a connection device to which an actuation device is assigned. Each actuation device actuates a contact limb of a contact spring of the connection device. The actuation device includes a pivoted lever configured to act on a sliding element with which the contact limb of the contact spring can be moved directly or indirectly. The pivoted lever and the contact limb rotate about the same or substantially the same axis of rotation.

Wire connection terminal structure

A wire connection terminal structure includes a case main body. Wire plug-in ports are connected with an electro-conductive module. Arcuate slide guide slots are disposed on the electro-conductive module. Rotary buttons are pivotally disposed in the case main body. Each rotary button has a movable section. A pin is disposed on the movable section. The pin is extended into the slide guide slot. At least one abutment leaf spring is pivotally disposed between the rotary button and the electro-conductive module. When a conductive wire passes through the wire plug-in port into the lateral side of the electro-conductive module, the rotary button can be driven to make the movable section gradually displace from a section of the abutment leaf spring near the pivotally rotational center to an outer lateral side. The abutment leaf spring is pushed to engage with the conductive wire.
