Connector structure for flexible light strip

A connector structure (100) for a flexible light strip (10) includes a cable joint (110) and an insulation body (200). The cable joint (110) includes a housing (120) and a plurality of conductive terminals (130) assembled in the housing (120). Each of the conductive terminals (130) includes a piercing portion (150). The insulation body (200) has a first end (210) and a second end (220) communicating with the first end (210). The flexible light strip (10) is inserted into the first end (210), and the housing (120) is inserted into the second end (220). The piercing portion (150) is parallel to the flexible light strip (10) and correspondingly pierces the flexible light trip (10) to be electrically coupled to the same. Therefore, the connector structure (100) achieves fast assembly and improves efficiency and reliability for connection.

CONNECTORS FOR LANDSCAPE LIGHTING SYSTEMS

A connector includes a cable tray configured to receive and retain a cable in a stable position and couple with a top cap configured to create an electrical connection with the cable as the top cap is manipulated in a predetermined manner while coupled with the cable tray. An upper surface of the cable tray is configured to receive the cable. The cable tray also includes a finger extending beyond the first end for some distance longitudinally. The finger includes a protrusion that protrudes to some extent in a transverse direction so that a cable-accommodating gap is defined between the protrusion and the first end. The protrusion is configured to bear against the cable and retain the cable in the stable position when the cable is inserted between the protrusion and the first end (before, during and/or after an electrical connection is established).

A linear light connector includes a connector base comprising a bottom section, and first and second sidewalls. A first portion of the connector base is configured to receive a first piece of linear light therein. One or more electrical contacts extend along a length of the connector base and include at least one tip extending above a surface of the bottom section within the first portion. The tips may be arranged to align with electrical conductive paths of a piece of linear light positioned in the first portion. A cap may connect to the connector base to apply a downward force to the linear light and engage the linear light with the tips of the contacts.

The retainability and electric connection reliability of a plate-shaped signal transmission medium can be increased by a simple configuration while the operability of an actuator is improved. Pre-pressing protruding portions which create a clicking sensation of a turning operation of the actuator are provided in part of a region in a longitudinal direction of the actuator so that the pressing force of the pre-pressing protruding portions with respect to the plate-shaped signal transmission medium is applied to the part in the longitudinal direction of the actuator, and the pressing force of the pre-pressing protruding portions with respect to the plate-shaped signal transmission medium is prevented from being largely increased even when the actuator is enlarged in the multipolar arrangement direction. As a result, the operating force for the actuator is reduced, and, on the other hand, the final fixation state of the plate-shaped signal transmission medium is configured to be good by maintaining the pressing force of the medium pressing portion.

Connector having a cap with a brace to prevent decoupling of the cap from an engagement member

Electrical assembly

An assembly includes a housing, a flat cable, and a spring terminal, in some configurations. The flat cable may be disposed at least partially in the housing and may include an electrical conductor. The spring terminal may be disposed at least partially in the housing. The spring terminal may include a base, a first wing extending from the base in a first direction, a second wing spaced apart from the first wing, a spring portion extending from the base in a second direction, and a tab extending from the base. The first wing and the second wing may extend through the flat cable such that the spring terminal is electrically connected to the electrical conductor. The spring portion may connect with an external electrical component such that the external electrical component is electrically connected to the electrical conductor.
