ROBUST ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A card edge connector with latches that improve the connector's reliability. The connector comprises a housing having a slot elongated in a longitudinal direction and a pair of towers disposed on opposite ends of the housing and extending in a vertical direction. A pair of latches are disposed in the towers, respectively. Each latch has a groove disposed above the respective tower for receiving a flange of a card inserted in the slot. Each latch has a clip disposed in its groove for engaging the flange of the card. The clips are configured to restrain movement of the card in the longitudinal direction, the vertical direction, and a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal and vertical directions when the latches are in locked positions. Such a configuration enables more reliable connections and improves the connector's shock resistance while being compatible with cards having a variety of thicknesses.
Set formed of a conductor connection element and a fastening element
A set formed of a conductor connection element and a fastening element for fastening the conductor connection element to another component, wherein the conductor connection element has an insulating housing with a conductor insertion opening for inserting an electrical conductor in a direction of conductor insertion, and wherein the fastening element has a connecting arrangement by means of which the fastening element can be fastened to the conductor connection element in a positive-locking manner. The connecting arrangement is configured to allow a fastening of the fastening element to the conductor connection element in multiple different discrete spatial orientations relative to the direction of conductor insertion.
Terminal block for connecting a circuit board and wires with a slidable fastener on the body
A terminal block includes an insulative seat, a flexible arm latch and a slider. The insulative seat has a slot and a sliding trough. A longitudinal direction of the sliding trough is parallel to a depth direction of the slot. The flexible arm latch is disposed on the insulative seat. A longitudinal direction of the flexible arm latch is parallel to the depth direction of the slot. The flexible arm latch has a first interfering portion and a hook. The slider is disposed in the sliding trough and longitudinally movable along the sliding trough. The slider has a second interfering portion. Either the first interfering portion or the second interfering portion is a slope. The first and second interfering portions abut against each other to push the slope to deflect the flexible arm latch to make the hook retract when the slider is traveling toward the slot.
PLUGGABLE FREE-SPACE PHOTOELECTRIC HYBRID CONNECTOR
A pluggable free-space photoelectric hybrid connector including a female connector and a male connector is provided. The female connector includes a first insulating substrate, metal elastic clips, a first circuit board, and a first optical communication module. An insertion cavity is formed at the front end of the first insulating substrate, and a first fiber mounting hole and first electrode mounting holes are formed at the rear end thereof. The metal elastic clips are mounted in the first electrode mounting holes respectively, where contact portions of at least one set of metal elastic clips are exposed from the top of the insertion cavity, and contact portions of at least another set of metal elastic clips are exposed from the bottom of the insertion cavity. The first circuit board is mounted at the rear end of the first insulating substrate and is electrically connected to the metal elastic clips.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY MOUNTED STRUCTURE
A connector assembly includes a first connector and a second connector, the first connector having a first contact and a mounting portion together with a projecting portion which passes through a through-hole of a connector holding plate to project on a side of a second face of the connector holding plate along a fitting direction when the first connector is mounted on a first face of the connector holding plate through the mounting portion, the second connector having a second contact and a second contact holding portion which has a first connector receiving portion extending along the fitting direction and an abutment portion formed at an end of the second contact holding portion on a side of the first connector and configured to be abutted against the second face of the connector holding plate.
System for vehicle battery charging around charge-adverse time periods
A communication system includes a plug connector mated with a receptacle connector. The receptacle connector includes a housing holding a contact assembly. The housing includes a front housing that receives an inner housing, which receives contact holders and receptacle contacts of the contact assembly. The receptacle connector housing includes a height profile defined between top and bottom walls with a housing latch and guide pockets contained within the height profile. The plug connector includes a housing holding a cable assembly with a circuit card received in a card slot of the receptacle housing. The plug connector housing includes alignment embossments received in the guide pockets and latches coupled to the alignment embossments are latchably coupled to the receptacle connector. The latches are contained within a height profile of the plug connector housing.
TERMINAL BLOCK FOR CONNECTING CIRCUIT BOARD AND WIRES WITH SLIDABLE FASTENER
Card-type connector having a rotatable cover configured to be fastened to the circuit board
A connector is mountable on a circuit board. A card-type device is accommodatable in the connector. The connector comprises a base, a cover and a terminal. The cover is attached to the base to be openable and closable. The terminal is held by the base. The cover has one or more connection portions. The connection portion is directly connected to the circuit board under a close state where the connector is mounted on the circuit board and the cover is closed relative to the base.
CONNECTOR AND DEVICE
In order to reduce the probability that an electrode of a connector and a terminal part of a printed substrate are broken, this connector is provided with openings including a void, respectively, in at least one of surfaces perpendicular to generating lines of two prismatic surfaces facing each other with the void therebetween and having parallel generating lines, and at least one of surfaces parallel to the generating lines, and is equipped with: a first member which is disposed in the void, and performs a first movement that is a movement in a direction parallel to the generating lines; a second member which, following the first member, performs a second movement that is a movement in a direction corresponding to the direction of the movement of the first member between respectively predetermined first point and second point.
