An electrical connector for connecting a circuit card to a substrate. The connector includes a housing and forklocks. The housing is in an elongated shape and includes a slot for accepting an edge of the circuit card. The forklocks are extended from a bottom surface of the housing on each end of the housing. The forklocks are inserted into through holes formed in the substrate to secure the housing to the substrate. The forklocks are rotated by a predetermined degree of angle (e.g. 45 degrees) about a longitudinal direction of the housing. The circuit card may be a memory module, such as a dual in-line memory module, and the substrate may be a printed circuit board. The circuit card may be a daughter board and the substrate may be a mother board.

Anti-backout latch for interconnect system

An interconnect system includes various anti-backout latches that are movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. When in the engaged position, the anti-backout latches can be configured to prevent an interconnect module, such as an optical transceiver, from becoming unmated from a host module. When in the disengaged position, the anti-backout latches permit the interconnect module to become unmated from a host module. Securement members are also disclosed that secure a heat sink to a module housing of the interconnect module.

Coupling device, assembly and method

A coupling device for coupling a plurality of cable units to a component carrier includes a base plate that is flat in at least one plane. A connecting device is disposed on a first side of the base plate and is configured to mechanically couple the base plate to the component carrier. An opening extends through the base plate for each cable end of a plurality of cable ends of the cable units. The opening in each case is disposed on the base plate at a position corresponding to the respective cable unit.

Electrical connector assembly with lockable structures

An electrical connector assembly includes a board end connector and a wire end connector. The board end connector includes a board end connector shell and a board end connector body. The wire end connector includes a wire end case and a tongue plate. At least one guide piece is extended from one of the board end connector shell and the wire end case, and a remaining one of the board end connector shell and the wire end case is provided with at least one guide slot for creating a butt joint with the guide piece. The electrical connector assembly of the present disclosure utilizes the space of the board end to the maximum extent, solves the problem that the CPU occupies the space of the board end due to the increased size of the heat dissipation module, and can realize high-speed data transmission.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH A FLAT-TYPE CONDUCTOR
