At least one guide piece is extended from one of the board end connector shell and the wire end case, and a remaining one of the board end connector shell and the wire end case is provided with at least one guide slot for creating a butt joint with the guide piece. The electrical connector assembly of the present disclosure utilizes the space of the board end to the maximum extent, solves the problem that the CPU occupies the space of the board end due to the increased size of the heat dissipation module, and can realize high-speed data transmission.
Connector housing and electrical connector
A connector housing comprises a body, an outside surface of the body having a pair of opposite mounting surfaces, a first contact surface, and a second contact surface, and a mounting portion disposed on each of the mounting surfaces. The mounting surfaces, the first contact surface and the second contact surface are perpendicular to each other. A distance between the mounting portion and the first contact surface is equal to a distance between the mounting portion and the second contact surface. The connector housing is interchangeably mounted with the first contact surface on a circuit board or with the second contact surface on the circuit board by a same mounting mechanism engaging the mounting portion.
ANTI-BACKOUT LATCH FOR INTERCONNECT SYSTEM
An interconnect system includes various anti-backout latches that are movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. When in the engaged position, the anti-backout latches can be configured to prevent an interconnect module, such as an optical transceiver, from becoming unmated from a host module. When in the disengaged position, the anti-backout latches permit the interconnect module to become unmated from a host module. Securement members are also disclosed that secure a heat sink to a module housing of the interconnect module.
RETENTION LATCH WITH SPRING MECHANISM
An embodiment of a latch apparatus for a circuit board comprises a first latch body with a retention mechanism for the circuit board, a second latch body with a coupling mechanism for a connector, and a spring mechanism mechanically coupled between the first latch body and the second latch body. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.
Edge card adapter and electrical coupling device
An edge card connector assembly has a harness-side portion connectable to a cable and a card-side portion adapted to receive a planar structure edgewise therein in a plane of entry. The edge card connector has a plurality of resilient electrical contacting members extending through the wall and is adapted for electrical connection with the cable in the harness-side portion and with the planar structure in the card-side portion. Upper and lower contacting members are disposed above and below the plane, respectively, such that the received planar structure impinges on the contacting members to urge the upper and lower contacting members away from the plane, and the upper and lower contacting members exert opposing holding pressure on the upper and lower surfaces of the planar structure at respective contact points.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector includes a substrate and multiple terminals. The substrate is provided with multiple accommodating holes running through the substrate vertically. A shielding member is provided on a lower surface of the substrate. The terminals are correspondingly accommodated in the accommodating holes respectively. The terminals include multiple signal terminals and at least one ground terminal. An interval exists between the ground terminal and the shielding member. The ground terminal has a conducting portion extending downward out of a corresponding accommodating hole. The conducting portion is soldered to a main circuit board through a solder, and the solder is in contact with the conducting portion and the shielding member. According to the present invention, the conducting portion of the ground terminal is connected with the shielding member through the solder, thereby reducing a spurious charge, reducing the capacitance, and improving a high frequency.
CONNECTOR AND CONNECTION SYSTEM
A connector includes contacts, a housing and a mounting metal fitting. The mounting metal fitting possesses a joined section to be joined to a substrate. The joined section is exposed from a back surface of the housing. Each of the contacts possesses an exposed section exposed from the back surface of the housing. The housing possesses a protrusion and a recess. The protrusion is provided between the joined section and at least part of the exposed sections of the contacts, and protrudes from the back surface. The recess is provided between the protrusion and at least part of the exposed sections of the contacts, and is set lower than an end face of the protrusion to face the substrate.
High-speed connector on high-density mini version chip side
The present invention provides a high-speed connector on a high density MINI version chip side, which comprises a board end connector, a wire end connector and a printed circuit board; the board end connector is arranged on the printed circuit board; the board end connector comprises a board end connector shell and a board end connector body arranged in the board end connector shell; the wire end connector comprises a wire end case and a tongue plate fixed to the wire end case; wherein at least one guide piece is extended from the board end connector shell, and the wire end case is provided with at least one guide slot for creating a butt joint with the guide piece. The connector of the present invention utilizes the space of the board end to the maximum extent, solves the problem that the CPU occupies the space of the board end due to the increased size of the heat dissipation module, and can realize high-speed data transmission.
Sensor with integrated electrical contacts
A PCB mountable sensor having spring electrical contacts and mechanical attachment means is provided. In use, the spring contacts mate with exposed pads on a target PCB to form an electrical interface therebetween. The attachment means releasably secures the sensor to the PCB against the force of the spring contacts. The attachment means can be, for example, an adapter that fits like a collar around the sensor, or can be integral with the sensor. The design of the sensor provides interchangeability with no or limited tools, no PCB resident connectors, and no potential damage to the PCB upon rework or replacement.
Electrical connector for connecting electrical conductors to a printed circuit board
An electrical connector for connecting an electrical conductor to a circuit board includes a housing electrically connected on a connecting side of the electrical connector to an electrical connecting part and including a contact side having one or more contacts, in order to make electrical contact with one or more mating contacts of the circuit board. A locking pin assembly passes through an opening of the circuit board and moves from a release position to a locking position in which its diameter on the side of the opening facing away from the housing is larger than the diameter of the opening of the circuit board. The housing includes at least one activating device and the locking pin assembly includes at least two functional elements which move relative to each other.
