The connector interposer electrically interconnects the first contacts and the second contacts.
RETAINERS WITH MOVABLE HOOKS
In an example, a retainer may include a post to insertably engage with a post receptacle on a system board, and a hook hingeably attached to the post. The hook may be movable from a first position, lateral to a longitudinal axis of the post, to a second position aligned with the longitudinal axis of the post. In some implementations, the hook may be spaced from a top surface of the post when disposed in the second position so as to receive a portion of an expansion component between the hook and the post when the hook is disposed in the second position.
Board connector
A board connector includes a receptacle (11) fittable to a mating housing (100) and a fixing member (40) having a board fixing portion (42) to be fixed to a circuit board (90) and a receptacle fixing portion (41) connected to the board fixing portion (42) and to be fixed to the receptacle (11). The receptacle (11) includes a side wall (17) arranged on a plate surface of the circuit board (90) and extending along a rising direction from the plate surface. An opening (25) penetrates the side wall (17) in a wall thickness direction. The receptacle fixing portion (41) of the fixing member (40) is arranged along an opening surface of the opening (25).
Plug connector
Provided is a plug connector having an insulator and a plug connector fixing bracket that is hard to collapse (break). A plug connector (15) is attachable to and detachable from a receptacle connector (35) and includes: a plug insulator having an outer wall that includes a pair of longitudinal walls and a pair of transverse walls together constituting an annular projection engageable with an engagement recess of the receptacle connector (35); a plug contact group arranged in a row and supported by the longitudinal wall of the outer peripheral wall, contacts a receptacle contact group when the annular projection is fit into the engagement recess, and is connected to a circuit pattern of a plug side circuit board; and a plug connector fixing bracket mounted on the transverse walls. The plug connector fixing bracket includes a receiving surface facing a bottom surface of the transverse walls, a transverse outer wall and a transverse inner wall that bend from the receiving surface and respectively extend along an inner surface and an outer surface of the transverse walls, and a pair of longitudinal outer walls that bends from the receiving surface and extends along outer surfaces of the longitudinal walls.
CARD EDGE CONNECTOR EQUIPPED WITH ROTATABLE EJECTOR
A card edge connector includes an insulative elongated housing, a plurality of contacts disposed in the housing, and a pair of rotatable ejectors at two ends of the housing. The housing includes a pair of side walls extending along the longitudinal direction with a receiving slot therebetween in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and a pair of towers at two opposite ends of the housing in the longitudinal direction. The receiving slot is configured to receive a card type memory module. The pair of ejectors are disposed in the corresponding towers, respectively. Each ejector includes a kicker at the bottom wherein a tip of the kicker will not invade into the space between the pair of outermost contacts so as not interfere with the corresponding outermost contacts when the ejector is rotated to be at an open/ejecting position.
Connector receptacle having a tongue
Connector systems may include a connector receptacle and connector plug or insert. The connector receptacle may include a tongue. The tongue may be formed using a printed circuit board. Contacts may be plated on top and bottom surfaces of the tongue. Retention features may also be located on top and bottom surfaces of tongue. These retention features may be speed bumps or other features. The connector insert may include a leading edge portion formed of plastic, a conductive shield around the insert behind the leasing edge portion, a plurality of spring contacts attached to an inside of the conductive shield, a top row of contacts; and a bottom row of contacts. Other connector receptacles may include a tongue having side ground contacts. The side ground contacts may engage an inside of a plug shield and have contacting portion to fit in openings in the plug shield.
PSAS RECEPTACLE CONNECTOR, PSAS PLUG CONNECTOR AND INTERCONNECTION SYSTEM THEREWITH
Connectors for use with high-speed signals. Mating connectors may include interlocking components that control the mated position of the connectors such that wipe distance can be reduced. These components may be compact such that they can be integrated into connectors with standardized exterior dimensions. They may be integrated into mating guides of the mating connectors. For one of the mating connectors, such a component may be a locking member disposed in and curving out of its guide such that the locking member mates with a matching feature of a component in the guide of the other connector. As the connectors are secured by these components, the conductive elements may be shorter than the lengths required by standards, which reduces the stub and therefore increases signal integrity. Such a configuration provides higher signal integrity at higher speeds, while conforming to standards that constrain mating and mounting interfaces.
LATCHING SYSTEM FOR ESTABLISHING A LATCHING CONNECTION BETWEEN A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND AN EDGE-CONTACT PLUG, PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD, EDGE-CONTACT PLUG AND ADD-ON PART
The present invention relates to a latching system, including a printed circuit board and an edge-contact plug, for establishing a latching connection between the printed circuit board and the edge-contact plug, including two retaining arms, each having a latch, the edge-contact plug including two mating latches for establishing the latching connection with the latch. The mating latches being formed on two different outer sides of the edge-contact plug as a set-back portion on the outer sides in each case, and the latches being able to engage with the set-back portions on the outer sides to establish the latching connection.
EDGE CARD MOUNTING STRUCTURE
An edge card mounting structure includes an edge card, an electrical connector disposed on a circuit board, and a rack that holds the edge card and is inserted into the electrical connector to electrically connect the edge card to the electrical connector. The rack includes a rack body that accommodates the edge card, two bearing plates bilaterally disposed in the rack body, and two adjustment members that are elastically pressable to move the accommodated edge card downwardly into abutment against the bearing plates where the electric contacts of the edge card are kept in contact with the respective contact endpieces of the conducting terminal set of the electrical connector for transmitting high frequency signals.
