Connection strip and method of manufacturing the connection strip
A connection strip is designed as a printed circuit board connector and has a strip-like connection housing, which is formed in one part or in a plurality of parts. The connection housing has a plurality of outer sides, the first outer side having a mating face side on which there are at least two or more mating face plug-in contacts, which can each be plugged together with a corresponding plug-in contact of a corresponding plug connector. The connection housing is further designed to have printed circuit board plug-in contacts on one, two or three of the other outer sides, which contacts project beyond the respective outer side so that on the one or more outer sides on which the printed circuit board plug-in contacts are provided, a printed circuit board can be soldered. A method for manufacturing the connection strip is also provided.
Electrical connector assembly having differential pair contact modules and a sideband contact module assembled to the differential pair contact modules
An electrical connector assembly includes: an insulative housing forming a front mating slot and a rear receiving space; a contact module received in the insulative housing and including an upper part and a lower part stacked with each other, each of the upper part and the lower part including a differential pair contact module having an insulator and a plurality of differential pair contact fixed in the insulator, each of the differential pair contact having a mating portion and a tail portion opposite to the mating portion; and a sideband contact module comprising sideband contacts, wherein the differential pair contacts and the sideband contacts are fixed to the insulator in different ways.
Electrical connector and power terminal
An electrical connector includes conductive terminals arranged to contact pads of a card inserted into the electrical connector. Each conductive terminal includes tiers of fingers configured to contact the card. The tiers of fingers include at least an outer tier of outer fingers and an inner tier of inner fingers. The outer tier may be parallel to the inner tier and may be parallel to a row direction. Contact surfaces of the outer fingers of the outer tier may be aligned in at least a first row parallel to the row direction. Contact surfaces of the inner fingers of the inner tier may be aligned in at least a second row different from and parallel to the first row. The conductive terminals may be arrayed along opposites sides of a card receiving slot so as to contact first and second sides of a card inserted into the slot.
