A connector for interfacing with a circuit board includes a body having opposing first and second face surfaces and defining a plurality of ports extending between the face surfaces. A plurality of center conductors extend in respective ports between the face surfaces. Support elements engage the center conductors to secure the center conductors generally centered in the respective ports. Each center conductor includes a pin portion positioned proximate to the first face surface and a plunger portion positioned to extend beyond the second face surface. The plunger portion moves longitudinally with respect to the connector second face surface for varying the distance of an end of the center conductor from the second face surface to allow adjustability in the interfacing of the connector with a circuit board or other signal handling component.

According to various embodiments, there is provided a user input device including: a chassis including a socket configured to releasably receive a panel; a memory storing a plurality of button maps, wherein each button map of the plurality of button maps defines functions of at least one button of a respective panel of a plurality of panels, each of which being receivable in the socket; and a processor configured to read an identity code of the received panel, and further configured to identify a matching button map from the plurality of button maps based on the identity code, wherein the matching button map defines the functions of the at least one button of the received panel.

Spring probe

Disclosed is a spring probe, which comprises a needle tube, a needle with a tail end clamped in the needle tube and capable of moving axially along the needle tube, and a spring arranged between the front end of the needle and the inner bottom of the needle tube and applying thrust to the needle. The open end of the needle tube is circumferentially provided with a plurality of elastic sheets with elasticity. The inner sides of the elastic sheets are provided with first flanges for preventing the needle from separating from the needle tube. The first flanges are pressed against the outer wall of the needle under the action of the elastic force of the elastic sheets. The outer wall of the tail end of the needle head is provided with a second flange which can abut against the first flanges under the action of the spring.

Miniaturized electrical connector systems

Miniaturized electrical connector systems are disclosed herein. In exemplary aspects disclosed herein, the connector system includes a twinaxial female connector having a housing and at least one dielectric positioned therein. The at least one dielectric defines two parallel channels configured to receive at least a portion of two conductors of a twinaxial cable. The twinaxial female connector includes an oval interface configured to orient and align the conductors of the twinaxial cable with mating pins of a male connector. The twinaxial female connector further includes two spring-type interconnects positioned within the oval interface, each configured to directly contact a conductor of the twinaxial cable and a mating pin of the male connector. The twinaxial female connector further includes a retaining clip attached to an exterior of the housing with a lever arm biased towards and pivotable from an engaged orientation. Such features reduce the manufacturing complexity, cost, and overall size.

Hidden power and data connectors for accessories

A connector assembly is provided. The connector assembly includes a socket to receive a plug and having an electrical contact. The connector assembly further includes a flexible fabric embedded with a pattern of electrically conductive elements and spanning the socket to conceal the electrical contact. The flexible fabric can deform toward the electrical contact of the socket to cause at least a portion of the pattern to contact the electrical contact.

Functional modules of a modular system include a magnet and at least two conductors, at least one of which is movable into the functional module and at least one of which is formed of ferrous material. The movable conductor is biased against movement into the functional module and is positioned such that it contacts a power delivery conductor before the other conductor of the functional module contacts another power delivery conductor. The magnet provides attraction between the functional module and a power delivery module that assists in overcoming the bias against movement of the movable conductor into the functional module.

Connector with a housing and a terminal having a conductive case, a conductive member in the case and a coil spring biasing the conductive member toward a meeting terminal

A terminal (10) of a connector (1) includes a case (20) and a first conductive member (40). The first conductive member (40) includes a junction (43) for connection with a mating terminal.
