A subsea wet mateable connector plug part includes a plug body, a plurality of data conductor contacts arranged in the plug body and a plurality of power conductor contacts arranged in the plug body. The data conductor contacts include an even number of pairs of data conductor contacts, each pair being aligned orthogonally with respect to an adjacent pair of data conductor contacts. The pairs of data conductor contacts are so arranged as to form a data cluster. The data cluster includes an outer earth screen adapted to maintain an electrical contact with an earth screen of a cable. The power conductor contacts are spaced from one another in the plug body, outside of and remote from the outer earth screen of the data cluster.

The MEMS probe includes: a first terminal contact portion; a second terminal contact portion movable close to and away from the first terminal contact portion; and an elastic connecting portion connecting the first terminal contact portion and the second terminal contact portion, elastically deformed by an approach of the second terminal contact portion and comprising a plurality of plating layers stacked in the elastic deformation direction. According to the present disclosure, the MEMS probe includes a plurality of plating layers stacked in the elastic deformation direction, thereby decreasing fatigue failure and improving durability.

A smallest angle range out of angle ranges in the circumferential direction of the first through third mount recesses is equal to or smaller than a smallest angle range out of angle ranges in the circumferential direction of the fourth through sixth mount claws.

A connector for electrically connecting a portable electronic device to an accessory is provided. The connector comprises a first part (1) which operatively cooperates with a second part. The first part (1) has a first guide formation (9) and a first electrical contact (5) having a common center. The first guide formation (9) guides connection and rotation of the electrical contact (5) with and pot relative to a second electrical contact of a second part. The first electrical contact (5) includes at least two contact pads (17) arranged as concentric annuluses or annular arcs and sized and spaced so as to engage respective contact points of a second electrical contact of a second part. The first part (1) includes ferromagnetic elements (13) uniformly spaced about the common center at an equal radial distance therefrom. The ferromagnetic elements (13) are provided for attraction of or by a corresponding second set of ferromagnetic elements of a second part of the connector.

There are provided a plurality of terminals disposed in a circumferential direction of a second mount of an image capturing apparatus. The plurality of terminals correspond to a plurality of terminals disposed in a circumferential direction of a first mount of an accessory. The plurality of terminals of the image capturing apparatus include a first terminal used to supply power for driving an internal component of the accessory, and a second terminal used to supply power for controlling communication with the accessory. The first and second terminals are disposed further in a mount direction of the accessory than the other terminals of the image capturing apparatus on a predetermined stage of the terminal holder. An inter-terminal pitch between the first and second terminals is wider than at least one pitch among inter-terminal pitches of the other terminals.

The first connector comprises: an insulating base; a magnetic attraction metal piece which is fixed into the base; a magnet which sheathes the base and is attached to the metal piece; a first terminal which is fixed to the base; and a metal shell which covers the magnet. The second connector comprises: a magnetic attraction metal ring; a fixing base which is integrated with the metal ring; and a second terminal which is correspondingly received in the fixing base. The magnet and the metal ring are correspondingly magnetically attracted, so that the metal shell and the metal ring are attached to each other and the first terminal and the second terminal are electrically connected. The first connector and the second connector can be stably mated with each other and facilitate miniaturization of an electronic device.

Non-rigid blind mate connector system

In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a first connector portion and a second connector portion. The first connector portion includes a first magnet, an electrical pin, and a first fiber optic connector. The second connector portion is configured to form a non-rigid connection to the first connector portion. The second connector portion includes a second magnet configured to mate with the first magnet of the first connector portion, an electrical contact configured to mate with the electrical pin of the first connector portion, and a second fiber optic connector configured to mate with the first fiber optic connector of the first connector portion.

An electrical connector system can comprise a first connector and a second connector. The first connector can include a first threaded coupling feature defining a first axis. The first connector can also include a first electrical contact with a first contact surface having an annular configuration centered on the first axis by a radius. The second connector can include a second threaded coupling feature defining a second axis. The second connector can also include a second electrical contact with a second contact surface offset from the second axis by the radius. The first and second threaded coupling features can be operable to engage one another to couple the first and second connectors to one another such that the first and second axes are aligned, thereby facilitating contact or separation of the first and second contact surfaces upon relative rotation of the first and second connectors.
