In embodiments of the invention, the cartridge assembly includes a light emitting element in the housing extending to the opening, retention features covering at least a portion of the housing, including the flange, the retention features comprising a lateral face and a lobe and at least one load bearing strand extending from the cable to the emitter; and electrical connectors extending from the cable to the light emitting element.
PRIMARY LOCKS WITH TERMINAL SERVICEABLITY FEATURES FOR MIXED CONNECTION COAXIAL CABLES
A connector apparatus including a housing, and a primary lock reinforcement. The housing includes at least one substantially cylindrical coaxial cavity therein. The coaxial cavity has a first end, a second end, and a locking finger. At least one stop is located proximate the second end. A locking finger is positioned intermediate the first end and the second end. The locking finger includes a locking tab, and an unlocking surface. The locking finger is formed to be flexible and capable of flexing between a lock position and an unlock position. The locking finger is biased toward the lock position. The primary lock reinforcement is placed in the housing and has an opening therein corresponding to the second end of the cylindrical coaxial cavity.
Mounting support intended to make it easier to connect at least one free connector to a complementary connector
The invention relates to a mounting support intended to make it easier to connect at least one free connector to a complementary connector, the free connector being mounted at one end of an electric cable, the complementary connector being able to be mounted on an electronic board, the mounting support comprising a base and, for each free connector, a first impression and a second impression formed in a face of the base, the first impression being designed to receive a head of the free connector and comprising first holding means designed to keep the head of the free connector in the first impression, the second impression being designed to accommodate a connecting portion of the free connector and of the electric cable, and comprising second holding means designed to keep the connecting portion in the second impression.
PLUGGABLE DEVICE COMBINATION FOR PROTECTING AGAINST SURGES
The invention relates to a pluggable device combination for protecting against surges, having a socket-like bottom part of U-shaped cross section for receiving at least one plug module which accommodates a surge protection element, latching means which act between the plug module and the socket-like bottom part being provided, said latching means comprising first means which are formed on a biased joint on opposite sides of the plug module and respectively interact in a latching manner with associated second means on the bottom part, the latching connection being breakable by pressing the joint at the faces of the plug module, and the respective joint transitioning into an actuation area, the actuation areas additionally being formed opposite each other on the plug module in such a way that imaginary connecting lines between the actuation areas would form the shape of an at least approximate triangle.
Contact carrier having stable detent device
A contact carrier retains a crimp contact inserted therein at a central collar of the crimp contact in a particularly stable manner and at the same time absorb the highest possible plugging forces. The contact carrier has an insulating body and a retaining plate, which can be mounted thereon on the connection side. Furthermore, the contact carrier has at least one detent element, which, in the unassembled state, can assumed both a position locking the plug contact and a position releasing the plug contact. The detent element is part of the insulating body. The retaining plate also has at least one blocking element, which, in the assembled state, fixes the detent element in the position thereof locking the plug contact and thus prevents the transition of the detent element from the locking position into the releasing position.
CONNECTOR COMBINATION STRUCTURE AND CONNECTOR THEREOF
A connector combination structure is provided. The connector combination structure includes a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a first joint and at least one wedging portion. The second connector includes a housing, a second joint and at least one wedging arm. The second joint and the wedging arm are disposed in the housing. The wedging arm is adapted to be rotated between a first arm position and a second arm position. The first joint is adapted to be inserted into the housing to be connected to the second joint. When the wedging arm is located in the first arm position, the wedging arm is adapted to wedge the wedging portion. When the wedging arm is in the second arm position, the wedging arm is adapted to release the wedging portion.
3D printed high resolution electrical connectors with novel material removal features
A single piece electrical connector having a housing with a mating face, a wire receiving face, and housing side walls. Terminal receiving cavities extend from the mating face to the wire receiving face. The terminal receiving cavities have cavity side walls. Resilient securing arms are provided in the terminal receiving cavities. The resilient securing arms have fixed portions which extend from and are integrally attached to base members which extend from and are integrally attached to the cavity side walls of the terminal receiving cavities. The resilient securing arms are made from the same material and in the same manufacturing process that forms the housing. The fixed ends are spaced from the cavity side walls by gaps. The gaps between the resilient securing arms and the cavity side walls facilitate the cleaning or removal of excess material formed during the manufacturing process of the electrical connector.
HARNESS COMPONENT
A harness component includes a plurality of male terminals, a housing, a plurality of female terminals and a plurality of wires. The plurality of male terminals are connected to a circuit board. The housing includes a plurality of insertion holes and a plurality of female terminal accommodation holes. The male terminals are inserted through the insertion holes.
