Contact carrier having stable detent device
A contact carrier retains a crimp contact inserted therein at a central collar of the crimp contact in a particularly stable manner and at the same time absorb the highest possible plugging forces. The contact carrier has an insulating body and a retaining plate, which can be mounted thereon on the connection side. Furthermore, the contact carrier has at least one detent element, which, in the unassembled state, can assumed both a position locking the plug contact and a position releasing the plug contact. The detent element is part of the insulating body. The retaining plate also has at least one blocking element, which, in the assembled state, fixes the detent element in the position thereof locking the plug contact and thus prevents the transition of the detent element from the locking position into the releasing position.
CONNECTOR
Included are terminal metal parts mounted on ends of electric wires, a housing housing the terminal metal parts at a housing completion position thereinside and to be inserted and fit into a counterpart fitting portion headed by a tip, a terminal locking member mounted on the housing from outside along a direction crossing an insertion direction of the housing to the counterpart fitting portion and locking the terminal metal parts as they are at the housing completion position at a mounting completion position with respect to the housing, and a front holder causing the housing to be inserted headed by the tip and locking the terminal locking member at the mounting completion position.
Connector
A connector includes a housing including a terminal reception chamber in which a terminal can be received, and a front holder that is attached to the housing so as to double-lock the terminal in the terminal reception chamber, wherein the front holder includes a plate-like rib portion extending in a direction crossing a fitting direction of the front holder, the housing includes a groove portion and a mountain-like protrusion portion in a mounting position where the front holder is mounted, the groove portion being recessed into a shape that can receive the rib portion while supporting the rib portion, the groove portion extending in a direction in which the rib portion extends, the protrusion portion protruding in an extension direction of the groove portion and extending in the fitting direction of the front holder.
Electrical connector with attitude maintaining structure
A connector is provided with a connecting terminal, a connecting housing, and a front holder. The connecting housing includes a connecting terminal storing chamber, and a lance which is elastically deformable in order to store the connecting terminal into the terminal storing chamber and which is engageable with the connecting terminal in order to prevent the connecting terminal from removing when recovered from an elastic deformation. The front holder is supported to be movable to back and forth along the insertion direction and locked on a front end of the terminal storing chamber. The front holder is moved in the opposite direction to the insertion direction to be actually locked by pressure in a state that the front holder is temporarily locked and contacted with the connecting terminal to hold in a state that the front holder is actually locked.
CONNECTOR
A connector 10 is provided with a male terminal 40 including a tab 42, a housing 20 for supporting the male terminal 40, a sealing space 32 provided around the tab 42 in the housing 20, a sealing portion 90 to be accommodated into the sealing space 32 while contacting the tab 42, and a pressing portion 100 for setting the sealing portion 90 in a compressed state by being located in the sealing space 32.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR PROTECTOR PLATE WITH TERMINAL POSITION ASSURANCE
A protector plate for use with an electrical connector has a protector body. The protector body has a front plate face and an opposed back plate face. The protector plate includes one or more terminal openings that pass through the protector body. A plurality of staged locks are attached to the protector body for relative rotational movement. The staged locks extend beyond the front plate face. The staged locks also extend beyond the back plate face.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH PROTECTOR PLATE
A connector assembly includes a housing with a terminal cavity and a terminal lock adapted to retain an electrical terminal in the terminal cavity. A terminal position assurance is attached to the housing and engages the terminal lock. The connector assembly also includes a protector plate with a protector body having a front plate face and an opposed back plate face. Terminal openings pass through the protector body. A plurality of staged locks are attached to the protector body for relative rotational movement. The staged locks extending beyond the front plate face and also extending beyond the back plate face. The protector plate is movable relative to the housing in a mate direction from a pre-stage position to a pre-lock position. The protector plate is retained in the pre-lock position relative to the housing against further movement in the mate direction by a staged lock.
Connector position assurance member
A connector position assurance (CPA) member for assuring the engagement of a female housing with a male housing. The CPA member includes arms designed to stably and securely fit with apertures formed by the female housing. Also, the female housing includes a connector latch which engages with the CPA member and which used to securely hold together the female housing and the male housing.
Connector with waterproof structure
A connector is provided with a housing 10, a front seal portion 36 to be arranged to face a front surface of the housing 10, and a front wall portion 41 to be arranged to face a front surface of the front seal portion 36. The housing 10 includes cavities 17, deflectable locking lances 19 projecting into the cavities 17, and space portions 20 located in a deflection direction of the locking lances 19. The front wall portion 41 includes detection pieces 44 projecting rearward, tip sides of the detection pieces 44 being arranged in the space portions 20. The front seal portion 36 includes detection-side seal holes 40 to be held in close contact with base end sides of the detection pieces 44. The base end sides of the detection pieces 44 have a circular cross-sectional shape corresponding to the detection-side seal holes 40.
