Electrical connector
An electrical connector comprising an insulative housing and a retainer assembled into the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a mating face and a mounting face opposite to each other, and comprises a plurality of passageways passing through thereof along a front-and-back direction for receiving corresponding contacts and a receiving cavity recessed backwards from the mating face. The retainer is provided with a plurality of first latching portions and a plurality of second latching portions, and the first latching portions and the second latching portions are staggered along the front-and-back direction, the retainer is assembled and locked in the insulative housing without dropping out of the insulative housing via the first latching portions; after the contacts assembled into the insulative housing, the retainer is pushed towards the mounting face by an external force, until the second latching portions locked in receiving cavity.
Power connector having interlock function and power connector device using power connector
To provide a power connector etc. configured to prevent dimension enlargement in an array direction of fitting portions even in the case of providing attachment portions for attaching interlock connectors. A power connector includes a housing having at least two fitting portions each fittable to at least two partner fitting portions of a partner connector in an abutting state, at least two terminals each arranged at the fitting portions, and at least one interlock connector attached to an attachment portion of the housing. When the fitting portions and the partner fitting portions are fitted to each other, the terminals are electrically connected to partner terminals each provided at the partner fitting portions, and the interlock connector is in conduction with a partner interlock connector provided at the partner connector. At an abutting surface of the fitting portions and the partner fitting portions, the attachment portion is positioned between peripheral edges of the fitting portions, and is arranged in a region excluding a most-proximal portion where the peripheral edges of the fitting portions are closest to each other in an array direction of the fitting portions.
Shield terminal and shield connector
A shield terminal (30) includes inner conductors (32), a dielectric (37) configured to accommodate the inner conductors (32) and an outer conductor (40) surrounding the dielectric (37), and is selectively mountable into a first housing (10) and a second housing (20). A first locking portion (49) and a second locking portion (55) are formed on an outer surface of the outer conductor (40). The shield terminal (30) inserted into a first accommodation chamber (13) is retained by a front retainer (17) restricting the resilient deflection of a first locking lance (14) and the first locking portion (49) being locked to the first locking lance (14). The shield terminal (30) inserted into a second accommodation chamber (21) is retained by the locking of the first locking portion (49) and a second locking lance (22) and the locking of the second locking portion (55) and a side retainer (25).
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY HAVING A MALE BLADE STABILIZER WITH INTEGRATED PRIMARY LOCK REINFORCEMENT
An electrical connector assembly includes a connector body defining a terminal cavity therein and a male terminal projecting along a terminal axis to a tip and secured within the terminal cavity by a primary lock feature. The electrical connector assembly also includes a terminal stabilizer defining an aperture that is disposed within the connector body and is moveable from a pre-staged position to a staged position. The electrical connector assembly further includes a primary lock retaining feature that is integrated with the terminal stabilizer and is configured to engage the primary lock feature as the terminal stabilizer moves from the pre-staged position to the staged position.
ELECTRICAL FIXTURE INSTALLATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A two-piece electrical locking system having a first male piece with a plurality of pins that protrude outwardly from a top surface of the first male piece and a second female piece with a plurality of connection channels that engage with the pins of the first male piece. The first male piece may be tightened and brought closer to the second female piece as the pins rotatably mate with the plurality of connection channels. The two-piece electrical locking system may allow for an electrical fixture to easily and effectively be connected mechanically and electrically to an overhead junction box.
Electric terminal connector assembly with a terminal lock
A connector assembly includes a connector housing that defines a terminal cavity. A terminal lock is adapted to retain an electric terminal in the terminal cavity in an installed position. The terminal lock includes a lock arm that extends from the connector housing and a lock tab that extends from the lock arm into the terminal cavity. The terminal lock includes a raised ridge on an outer end of the lock tab.
CONNECTOR
A connector is provided with a rear seal portion to be arranged to face a rear surface of a housing, and a rear wall portion to be arranged to face a rear surface of the rear seal portion. The housing includes a lock piece projecting rearward from the rear surface and the lock piece includes a lock portion on a tip side. The rear seal portion includes a lock-side seal hole to be held in close contact with a base end side of the lock piece and a sealing surface to be held in close contact with a mating housing on an outer peripheral side. The rear wall portion includes a lock receiving portion to be locked by the lock portion on an inner surface of a through hole.
