Gas sensor and method for manufacturing the same

A gas sensor includes a sensing element that includes an electrode pad, a metal terminal, and a separator. The metal terminal includes a lead-wire-connecting portion, a main body, a protruding piece that protrudes from a front-end side, and an elastic portion connected to an end of the protruding piece and to the electrode pad. An area S1 of a first opposed surface of a primary surface facing an insertion hole of the separator is larger than an area S2 of a second opposed surface of a secondary surface facing the insertion hole, and a part of the second opposed surface contacts an inner circumferential surface of the separator forming the insertion hole, and the first opposed surface is separated from the inner circumferential surface, where surfaces of the main body and the protruding piece that are located opposite the elastic portion are the primary surface and the secondary surface.

Various embodiments include a plug receptacle for an electrical plug-in connection for receiving a plug with electrical plug conductor comprising a contact region for electrical connection to the plug receptacle comprising: a housing with an insertion region into which the plug can be releasably inserted; an electrical plug receptacle conductor rigidly arranged in the housing; and an electrical connecting conductor floating in the housing configured to electrically connect the plug receptacle conductor to the plug conductor. The electrical connecting conductor exerts a connecting force onto the contact region of the plug conductor once inserted into the plug receptacle. The connecting force runs substantially orthogonally in relation to said contact region.

ELECTRONICS JACK

A jack for receiving a plug to make an electrical connection, the jack having a jack sleeve contact, comprising a first sleeve contact member and a second sleeve contact member with a gap therebetween when the plug is not fully inserted into the jack, a jack tip contact configured to create an electrical connection with a plug tip contact when the plug is fully inserted into the jack, and a dog that imparts movement to the first sleeve contact member when engaged by the tip of the plug, when the plug is inserted into the jack, forcing the first sleeve contact member into electrical connection with the second sleeve contact member. This provides that the plug tip is electrically protected from completing an electrical connection with the jack sleeve contact prior to full insertion of the plug into the jack.

Electric terminal block

An electric terminal block having a terminal housing, two conductor connection elements in the housing, and two current bars. Each current bar has a connection portion and a resilient contact portion. Each connection portion is paired with a respective conductor connection element, and the contact portions together form a contact region for receiving and contacting the plug of a test plug or disconnecting plug. The contact portions contact each other when no plug is plugged in such that the two conductor connection elements are electrically connected together via the two current bars. A transverse connection between two conductor connection elements of two adjacent terminal blocks is produced automatically when a test plug or disconnecting plug is plugged onto the terminal blocks. The terminal housing has two spring elements that have a resilient contact portion; the contact portions of the spring elements together form an additional contact region for the plug.

A jack may comprise a contact clip and a housing. The housing may be generally cylindrical and bounded by an imaginary cylinder. The housing may define a substantially cylindrical cavity and a contact aperture. The substantially cylindrical cavity may have an opening at a first end of the housing. The contact aperture may be configured to receive the contact clip. The contact aperture may extends from an outer surface of the housing to the cylindrical cavity. The contact clip may be friction-fitted into the contact aperture and extend into the substantially cylindrical cavity.

Barrel terminal

A barrel terminal has one end for inserting a mating member and the other end for connecting a cable. The barrel terminal includes a contact portion, a connecting portion, and a buffer portion connecting the contact portion and the connecting portion. The contact portion has multiple contact elastic pieces, and the contact elastic pieces are used for electrically contacting the mating member. The connecting portion is used for connecting the cable. The buffer portion has multiple absorption portions. The absorption portions absorb the deformation stress of the connecting portion to prevent the stress from being transferred to the contact portion, to avoid the deformation of the contact elastic pieces, so as not to cause the reduction of the contact area between the contact elastic pieces and the abutment terminal, and to prevent reduction of a clamping force of the barrel terminal to the mating member.
