ADJUSTABLE TRANSITION COUPLER
20200381908 · 2020-12-03 ·

An adjustable transition coupler for coupling AC/MC to conduit, the coupler having a body with a hollow cylindrical section and an extension member with a curved section, the cylindrical section having a slot to allow passage of a stop plate. The coupler has an insulator with a hollow bushing at one end for insertion into a cavity of the cylindrical section and a stop plate extending radially outward, the stop plate movable by an adjustment screw between minimum and maximum deflections. The stop plate stops AC/MC from passage into the cylindrical section. The hollow bushing stops the conduit positioned in the hollow cylindrical section from passage into the extension member. The coupler has a strap with a curved section complementary with the curved section of the extension member so as to secure a range of AC having different outer sheath diameters.

A high jack support assembly has an elongated hollow conduit having a first end and a second end. A cord and/or tube extends through the conduit from the first end to the second end. One or more connecting members are attached to the conduit and are used to attach the conduit to a support and hold the conduit in an upright position.

CABLE GLAND AND METHODS FOR GROUNDING A CABLE
20200287367 · 2020-09-10 ·

A cable gland and methods for earthing, grounding, bonding, and electromagnetic capability with armored, metal-clad, and metallic-sheathed cable types. The cable gland comprises a gland body, a plurality of extensions, an elastomer seal, a compression member configured to rotate the plurality of extensions towards to the elastomer seal, and an earthing insert mounted in the gland body configured to electrically connect a cable to a neutral and/or grounded conductor. The cable gland is configured to provide an air-tight seal between the exterior of the cable and the elastomer seal through rotation of the plurality of extension upon the elastomer seal. The cable gland may include an o-ring and nut to secure the cable gland to a planar body. The earthing insert comprises a grounding spring in electrical communication with a metallic portion of the cable and a neutral and/or grounded conductor.

Duplex electrical cable fitting

A duplex electrical cable fitting includes a connector body having a mounting member and a base member, a cover having a cover hook, and a locknut configured to engage with the mounting member. The mounting member has a mounting member sidewall extending between first and second open ends with the first and second open ends defining a cable passage therebetween. The base member has a cover engaging member, which defines a cover engaging hole. The base member is connected to the mounting member at the second open end and extends downwardly therefrom. The cover hook is movably connected to the base member via the cover engaging hole so as to allow the cover to be movable relative thereto between open and closed positions.

CABLE BUSHING

The invention relates to a cable bushing to be screwed together with a wall comprising a passage for at least one prefabricated cable, comprising two partial elements, which are screwed together with one another in the installed state, a threaded section, which is formed by the two partial elements in each case in a part of its circumference, and comprises a thread, for feeding through the passage, a receptacle section adjoining thereon in the axial direction of an axis of rotation of the threaded section, which has a larger external diameter than the threaded section at least in sections, and which comprises at least one receptacle opening for accommodating at least one strain relief bushing.

The cable bushing according to the invention is characterized in that the division between the two partial elements is formed off-center, so that the circumference of the receptacle opening extending around the at least one strain relief bushing is greater in one of the partial elements than in the other of the partial elements.

Cable gland with pressure dome tightening mechanisms and method for earthing a cable

A cable gland and method for earthing, bonding, and electromagnetic capability with armored, metal-clad, and metallic-sheathed cable types. The cable gland includes compressible fingers with the ability to compress or expand about a cable inserted in and through the cable gland, and an adjustable earthing coil arranged internally inside a part of the cable gland that secures around a cable inserted in the cable gland. When fully coiled, the adjustable earthing coil is relaxed and as the adjustable earthing coil is expanded it generates a restoring force. An earthing strap attached to the adjustable earthing coil in the cable gland, provides grounding capabilities to the cable gland.
