ADJUSTABLE HANGER BAR ASSEMBLY
A hanger bar assembly comprises a first hanger bar, a second hanger bar, and a hanger bar holder. The first hanger bar and the second hanger bar are mechanically coupled where the first hanger bar slides relative to the second hang bar in a telescopic manner. The first hanger bar and the second hanger bar both include an interlocking structure that interlocks the first hanger bar with the second hanger bar, reducing lateral movement, such as backlash or slop. The hanger bar holder is used to hold at least one of the first hanger bar or the second hanger bar. The hanger bar holder includes a first section to guide at least the first hanger bar and a second section to guide at least the second hanger bar. The first section and the second section also constrain lateral movement of the first hanger bar and the second hanger bar, respectively.
Adjustable recessed box
A system for adjusting a junction box, to be recessed with respect to a ceiling, between a minimum ceiling thickness and a maximum ceiling thickness, utilizes a pair of hanger-bar-to-box-attachment-devices that are attached to both the junction box and to a pair of hanger-bars. The pair of hanger-bar-to-box-attachment-devices are attached to the junction box in an adjustable manner that is vertically slidable and lockable along a finite vertical path. And the pair of hanger-bar-to-box-attachment-devices that are also attached to the pair of hanger-bars, are adjustable in a horizontally slidable and lockable manner along a finite horizontal path, defined by a length of the pair of hanger-bars. The junction box may also have a set of height-markings on its exterior to facilitate adjusting the junction box to a desired height with respect to a given ceiling.
LOAD CENTER ASSEMBLY
A load center assembly is provided. The load center assembly comprises a frame, an electrical panel assembly, and a plurality of electrical wire harnesses. The frame includes a first side and a second side. The first side and the second side are substantially parallel and connected by a plurality of cross members. The electrical panel assembly is connected to the first side and the second side. The electrical panel assembly includes a plurality of breakers. The plurality of electrical wires harnesses is connected to the frame. Each of the plurality of electrical wire harnesses includes a plurality of wires. A first end of each wire of the plurality of wires is routed into the electrical panel assembly and is terminated in a corresponding breaker. The load center assembly is configured to be disposed in a wall frame.
LED driver junction box with leveling mechanism
A lighting system includes modular junction boxes and/or modular LED driver junction boxes with quick connect LED drivers. The modular junction boxes and/or modular LED driver junction boxes are attached to a ceiling mount to support or suspend an LED light fixture. The LED light fixture is suspended from the modular junction boxes and/or modular LED driver junction boxes through suspension cables that can includes a power suspension cable to power to the LED light fixture. The suspension cables are attached to the modular junction boxes and/or modular LED driver junction boxes through leveling gantry mechanisms for leveling the light fixture. In an embedment of the invention a lighting system includes a low-profile angled LED driver junction box.
MULTI-GANG ADJUSTABLE MUD RING ASSEMBLIES
A mud ring assembly includes a base member, a raised member, a telescoping member and a plurality of drive members. The base member has a flange and an opening through the flange. The raised member extends from the base member and follows the opening in the flange to form a raised wall. The raised member has a plurality of mounting tabs extending from the raised wall toward the opening in the raised member. The telescoping member is positioned within the raised member opening and is movable relative to the raised member between a retracted position and an extended position. The telescoping member has a wall, an opening and a plurality of mounting tabs extending from the wall toward the opening in the telescoping member. The wall of the telescoping member includes a plurality of protective members. Each protective member is positioned in proximity to one of a plurality of mounting tab pairs. In this configuration, one of the plurality of drive members is operatively coupled to the mounting tabs of one of the mounting tab pairs, such that rotation of the drive members causes the telescoping member to move between the retracted position and the extended position.
Electrical box brace
An electrical box brace including a rod, a sleeve, at least one mounting plate, an adjustment mechanism having a body, a spring and connecting the rod and sleeve, and at least one engagement device positioned within the adjustment mechanism body, wherein the at least one engagement device includes at least one threaded portion opposite a ramp, and wherein the ramp selectively engages the adjustment mechanism body to permit engagement or disengagement of the at least one threaded portion with the rod.
Profiled section element with stepped sidewall
An elongate profiled section element for a mounting system includes a bottom, a top section opposite the bottom, and sidewalls extending from the bottom to the top section. The top section includes two flanges which extend from the side walls and delimit between them a longitudinal slot. The top section has a smaller width than the bottom. At least one of the side walls is a stepped sidewall having a stepped shape seen in cross section. The stepped sidewall has two wall sections facing the opposite sidewall and an intermediate wall section substantially parallel to the bottom. The intermediate wall section is provided with a row of holes and the bottom is provided with a row of holes aligned therewith, said holes being adapted to cooperate with a self tapping screw.
Bracket System for Mounting Electrical Boxes
A bracket system for securing an electrical box and other components to a ceiling structure can include a support structure and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket can include a first support member and a second support member that define a support channel for slidably receiving the ceiling member. The mounting bracket can further include a first contact member and a second contact member that extend from the second support member and define a contact channel to slidably receive the attachment end of the support structure.
WIRE SPACING AND BRACING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Described herein is a wire spacing and bracing management device and system. The cable bracket device is designed to span between two studs or upright braces and be attached thereto. The cable bracket is equipped with preset zip tie holes or slots along its length and has nail or screw holes for stud attachment. The cable bracket includes thumb sliders along its length for ease of movement of a set of L-shaped brackets disposed on each end of the cable bracket. The cable bracket device provides a device that is adjustable, easily mountable, and configurable depending on the cable locations and construction structure. An intermediate bar member spanning the two studs may be planar, may be or be supported by a sheet metal spine, or may be or support a connector platform. Wires, cables, and gang boxes may be mounted thereon.
