MOUNTING BRACKET FOR ELECTRICAL BOXES
A bracket system for mounting an electrical box and other components can include a mounting bracket configured to be removably secured to a support bar or a threaded rod. The mounting bracket can include a plurality of spring arms that can be manually moved towards each other to insert locking profiles of the spring arms into one or more mounting openings of the electrical box. Once the locking profiles are inserted, the spring arms can be released so that they spring resiliently apart from each other and secure the locking profiles against removal from mounting openings.
LIGHTING JUNCTION BOX WITH ASSEMBLY FOR HANGING
A lighting-junction-box may have sidewalls that bound a cavity. The cavity may be con-figured to receive an electronic component that is configured to emit light. The sidewalls may be divided into an upper-portion and a lower-portion. The lower-portion may be substantially cylindrical in shape. The upper-portion may be substantially octagonal in shape, except that two of the eight faces may be curved, while the remaining six faces may be flat and planar. The two curved faces may be oppositely disposed from each other. The two curved faces may have holes for receiving carriage-bolts for attaching adjusting-plates to the lighting-junction-box. Below the holes of the two curved faces on the lower-portion may be external-length-gauges to assist with mounting the lighting-junction-box. The adjusting-plates may have slots for receiving the carriage-bolts and to allow for vertical adjustment of the lighting-junction-box with respect to the adjusting-plates.
Fixture Mounting Bracket with Adjustable Fixture Position and Fixture Installation Methods
Disclosed herein are mounting brackets that allow fixtures to be adjustably attached to the bracket during installation, and positioned after attaching the mounting bracket to the mounting surface. The mounting brackets and installation methods disclosed herein provide more efficient installations of fixtures including as electrical junction boxes, communications boxes, conduit, pipe, lighting, and cables.
Compact lighting apparatus with AC to DC converter and integrated electrical connector
A lighting apparatus includes a housing structure having a rear face, a sidewall, a front end face, a partition to divide an interior cavity of the housing structure into a top portion and a bottom portion, and at least one exterior width dimension such that at least a portion of the housing structure fits into a space having a width of less than 3.5 inches. A light source module is positioned in the bottom portion of the housing structure, and an AC to DC converter is positioned in the top portion of the housing structure to power the light source module. A reflecting element is positioned to direct light produced by the light source module out of the housing structure. At least a portion of a front surface of a substantially flat lens is substantially coplanar with an exterior surface of the front end face of the housing structure. One or more connecting mechanisms couple a trim to the front end face of the housing structure, and an electrical connector, coupled to the AC to DC converter, is integrated into the housing structure along a sidewall of the housing structure.
STUD-TO-STUD MOUNTING BRACKET FOR ELECTRICAL OR COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A mounting bracket for a junction box includes a face plate having left and right edge margins and a central opening. The face plate includes a first set of indicia adjacent a top edge of the central opening and a second set of indicia adjacent a bottom edge of the central opening. Each set of indicia includes ruler graduations indicating a distance from the left edge margin of the face plate to the respective ruler graduation.
BRACKET FOR ELECTRICAL DEVICES
A bracket for supporting at least one electrical device includes a first portion including a flange oriented in a first plane and at least one second portion including a leg oriented in a second plane substantially parallel to and offset from the first plane. Each second portion is configured to be coupled to the at least one electrical device.
Lighting assembly with junction box support
A light housing assembly includes: (1) a junction box unit having a body with a partially-cylindrical sidewall, a closed end, and a circular opening opposite the closed end, and flat inset facets on the sidewall with knock-out holes formed on the flat inset facets; (2) a light emitter housing containing a light source; and (3) an exterior surface fixture, with a reflector, including means for securing the light emitter housing to the junction box unit. Versions of the light housing assembly may include a mounting bracket assembly for mounting the junction box unit to supportive structure.
Wiring apparatus
An electrical wiring apparatus includes a container, a positive link, a neutral link and a ground link. The container has cable entries constructed to removably retain ends of a first cable and a second cable, each of the first and second cables having a positive wire, a neutral wire and a ground wire. An inner surface of the base allows the positive wire, neutral wire and ground wire of each of the first and second cables be exposed when the cable is positioned in the cable entry. Legs of the positive, neutral and ground links are electrically connect with exposed positive, neutral and ground wires of the first and second cables respectively. A circuiting, switch or receptacle device is engaged with the container and positive, the neutral and the ground links to create electrical connections to the positive, neutral and ground wires of the inserted cables.
Mounting Bracket for Electrical Boxes
A mounting bracket for an electrical box can be configured for use with a support that has a first and a second rail. The mounting bracket can include a first attachment device that is secured to mounting body and a second attachment device that is secured to the mounting body opposite the first attachment device. To secure the mounting bracket to the support, the first attachment device can be configured to engage one of the first rail or the second rail and the second attachment device can be configured to engage the other of the first rail or the second rail. Each of the first and second attachment devices can include a first arm configured to extend on a first side of the corresponding first or second rail, and a second arm configured to extend on a second side of the corresponding rail, opposite the first arm
Mounting bracket with support structure
A mounting bracket for supporting an electrical device includes a frame, a leg, and a support tab. The frame includes a rail and is configured to be secured to a structural support. The leg is connected to an edge of the rail and pivotable relative to the rail. The support tab is connected to the leg and configured to be coupled to the structural support.
