Adaptable toggle boxes
An adaptable toggle electrical work boxes with removable locators are provided as electrical old work boxes which can be used as “stud no stud” boxes, with a built-in single fastener assembly for attachment to a stud or a pair of external pivoting toggle fasteners which can attach the box to a wall board even if the location is not adjacent to an interior wall stud. The round electrical work box with flanges for holding the box against a wall board, but also where the flanges are a plurality of arcuate flanges separated from each other, providing hand gripping spaces for gripping the electrical box for rotating it so that removable burs or pointed members can etch into the wall board along the circumference of the open edge of the round electrical work box.
Thermostat Bracket Assembly
A thermostat bracket assembly includes a bracket that has a first portion forming an angle with a second portion. The first portion can be mounted to a wall stud having the second portion oriented planar with a panel of sheetrock mounted to the wall stud. A pair of engagements is each integrated into the bracket and each of the engagements is aligned with an intersection between the wall stud and the panel of sheetrock. A thermostat wire is extended through a respective one of the engagements to inhibit the thermostat wire from being lost in the wall cavity.
Adjustable electric box and bracket combination
Electric boxes and hanging brackets and more particularly adjustable electric boxes with parallel rails for connection with reciprocal parallel grooves in a hanging bracket that is configured to connect to a support, for example, a wall stud.
Quick connect electrical junction box
A Quick Connect Junction Box is disclosed. The Quick Connect innovation comprises a Junction Box having an insulating body with a cavity. The Junction Box is configured to securely fasten to a support surface. The Junction Box comprises an electrical circuit and one or more connectors. The electrical circuit has internal connections securely fastened within the insulating body and electrically connected to a power line using one or more conductors via input connections. The electrical circuit is formed with one or more conductive traces. The connectors are extended from the conductive traces. The outlet terminals are outwardly positioned at a center portion of the insulating body. The Quick Connect system further comprises an electrical component having an insulating body with an electrical circuit and connectors, affixed to the Junction Box via mounting tabs, thereby securely and electrically connecting the electrical component to the Junction Box via the outlet terminals.
Expanded Two-Gang Electrical Box
A wall-mounted enclosure having a standard forward-facing opening but also having an expanded enclosure behind the opening. The opening allows the use of conventional prior art components (such as cover plates). The expanded enclosure allows a more generous bend radius for the creation of a service loop in a fiber optic cable or similar component.
MOUNTING GUIDE FOR PLACEMENT OF A GANG BOX
A mounting rail and gang box member installation system for placing a gang box on a wall structure in a desired horizontal and/or vertical location to accommodate for construction anomalies. The mounting rail and gang box member system includes an elongate mounting rail assembly and any one of an extendable box assembly, slidable bracket assembly or a rail channel structure that in combination with a gang box member and/or mud ring member provide for flexibility in locating and mounting wiring receptacles and wiring devices on a wall structure. Finally, the installation system includes wire or cable fastening configurations that are used in combination with cable ties or zip-ties to secure wires of cables without having to use staples.
Adjustable mud ring assemblies
An adjustable mud ring assembly is provided that includes a base plate, a movable ring, and an indexing screw con-figured to move the movable ring with respect to the base plate between a first position and a second position. The base plate has a junction box connecting portion, a support connecting portion, and a stationary ring. The base plate can have an offset distance (D2) between the junction box connecting portion and the sup-port connecting portion where the offset distance is sufficient to allow the movable ring to move into stationary ring to the first position without protruding, at a lowermost point, into a junction box connected to the junction box connecting portion.
RESILIENT APERTURE COVER FOR ELECTRICAL BOX
An electrical box assembly includes an electrical box structure including an interior defined by a plurality of walls with an aperture formed through one of the walls for providing access to the interior of the box structure. An aperture cover extends over the aperture. The aperture is formed from a resiliently flexible material and includes a slit forming feature for prescribing a location of a slit for selectively providing access to the interior of the electrical box structure. The resiliency of the aperture cover urges the aperture cover to a closed position of the slit to minimize air passage through the aperture cover.
Selectively adjustable junction box
An adjustable junction box is provided that allows a technician to selectively adjust the distance between an outer surface of the junction box and an outer surface of a stud to which the junction box is interconnected. A selectively-removable cover is also provided that allows an outlet, for example, to be interconnected to a power supply and later removed for inspection.
MODULAR POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
A modular power distribution system, comprising a client device configured to be inserted into a host device, and having a series of independently configurable electrical connections and predetermined electrical connections connecting the host device, the client device, and a cable to deliver power from the cable to a peripheral of the client. A modular power distribution system, comprising a host device having first and second compartments, the second compartment being dimensioned to automatically align the client electrical coupler with the host electrical coupler and form a protective barrier while the client electrical coupler is in contact with the host electrical coupler. A modular power distribution system comprising a multi-gang host device and a client assembly, and having a series of independently configurable electrical connections and predetermined electrical connections connecting the multi-gang host device, the client assembly, and a cable(s) to deliver power from the cable the client assembly.
