Optical element driving mechanism
An optical element driving mechanism is provided. The optical element driving mechanism includes a fixed portion, a first movable portion, a second movable portion, a first driving assembly, and a second driving assembly. The first movable portion is movable relative to the fixed portion. The second movable portion is used for holding an optical element having a main axis, and is movable relative to the first movable portion. The first driving assembly is used for driving the first movable portion to move in a first dimension relative to the fixed portion, and the second driving assembly is used for driving the second movable portion to move in a second dimension relative to the fixed portion. The first dimension and the second dimension are different.
Rotational ball-guided voice coil motor
Actuators for rotating or tilting an optical element, for example an optical path folding element, comprising a voice coil motor (VCM) and a curved ball-guided mechanism operative to create a rotation or tilt movement of the optical element around a rotation axis upon actuation by the VCM. In some embodiments, an actuator includes two, first and second VCMs, and two curved ball-guided mechanisms operative to create rotation or tilt around respective first and second rotation axes.
Mid-bus voltage generation via idle phases in a linear motor track system
Drive coils in sections of a linear motor track that are normally used to electromagnetically propel movers along the track when such movers are nearby can be used to generate a mid-bus voltage for the section when not being used to propel movers. Such drive coils not being used to propel movers are considered idle and available for mid-bus voltage generation. The mid-bus voltage, and a full-bus voltage from which the mid-bus voltage is derived, in turn, can be applied across other drive coils that are near movers with varying polarities and magnitudes to propel movers along the track. Track sensors can be positioned along the track to detect presences or absences of movers with respect to drive coils for determining propulsion of such movers or generation of the mid-bus voltage. Accordingly, power supplies can be used more efficiently by not requiring them to generate mid-bus voltages in addition to full-bus voltages and DC references.
MULTI-AXIS SECTOR MOTOR
A multi-axis motor includes a first elongate magnet member disposed in a first orientation and a second elongate magnet member disposed in a second orientation orthogonal to the first orientation and mechanically coupled to the first elongate magnet member. The first elongate magnet member is operable to adjust a first axis of a fine axis structure. The second elongate magnet member is operable to adjust a second axis of the fine axis structure.
ACTUATOR AND CAMERA DEVICE
A drive controller of an actuator controls rotation in Pitch direction of a holder in accordance with results of detection by a first magnetic sensor and a first gyrosensor. The drive controller also controls rotation in Yaw direction of the holder in accordance with results of detection by a second magnetic sensor and a second gyrosensor. The drive controller further controls rotation in Roll direction of the holder in accordance with a result of detection by a third gyrosensor.

INFINITE STROKE LINEAR MOTOR
An embodiment of a linear motor assembly includes an armature extending linearly along an axis, the armature having a plurality of windings. The linear motor assembly also includes a magnetic assembly including a plurality of magnets arrayed in a loop configuration, a linear section of the plurality of magnets extending linearly through the plurality of windings in a direction parallel to the axis, each magnet of the linear section being oriented in the direction and configured to move in the direction due to interaction between the plurality of windings and a magnetic field generated by the magnetic assembly.
