METHOD, DEVICE AND MACHINE FOR PROCESSING SHOES
A method for preparation of a part of a surface of a shoe for subsequent gluing comprises the steps of spreading a glue on the operating surface of a roughing tool and applying this operating surface onto the part of the shoe to be roughed before drying of the glue, so as to transfer the glue onto the part of the surface being roughed. A device (14) implementing this method and a machine (10) using this device are also described.
MOULD, MACHINE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THREE-DIMENSIONAL ITEMS AND MANUFACTURING PLANT ASSOCIATED WITH SAME
The invention relates to a mould (1) for manufacturing three-dimensional items, comprising a body (2); a lid (4) configured to close said body (2); and incorporated closing and opening means (5) configured to keep the body (2) and the lid (4) joined during the movement thereof. A machine (M1) for manufacturing three-dimensional items, comprising a receiving module (M2) configured to receive the mould (1); a conditioning module (M3) configured to receive the mould (1) from the receiving module (M2) and act on the incorporated closing and opening means (5) in order to separate the lid (4) from the body (2); and a handling module (M4) configured to receive the body (2) from the conditioning module (M3) and enable the placement of the components of the item to be manufactured. A method for manufacturing three-dimensional items and manufacturing plant associated with said machine (M1).
Footwear manufacturing with a nested flat pattern upper
An article of footwear flat pattern upper having an upper portion and a footbed portion is provided. The upper portion and the footbed portion are integrally continuous, such that the upper portion lateral side converges with the footbed lateral side. The flat pattern includes nested same-sided article of footwear with a reduced surplus portion there between. The articles of footwear include the following continuous portions: the first medial side with a toe end, the toe end with a lateral side, the lateral side with a heel end, and the heel end with the second medial side. The first medial side and the second medial side are joined to form a dimensional article of footwear.
METHOD AND SYSTEM OF AUTOMATIC SHOE LACING
A method of automatic shoe lacing is proposed to include steps of: (a) capturing, by a camera system, at least two images of shoelace holes of a shoe from different positions relative to the shoe; (b) acquiring, by a computer device through conducting an analysis according to the at least two images of the shoe, coordinates of the shoelace holes relative to a robotic arm; and (c) the robotic arm lacing the shoe according to the coordinates acquired in step (b).
SHOE FORM MANUFACTURING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS AND SHOE FORM MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
A shoe form manufacturing assistance apparatus includes: a receiving unit that receives information about a shoe of a user; a calculation unit that selects, based on the information received by the receiving unit, at least one type of a shoe form model from a plurality of types of shoe form models that are different from each other in terms of manufacturing method, and calculates manufacture data for a shoe form in accordance with the at least one type of the shoe form model that is selected; and an output unit that outputs the manufacture data calculated by the calculation unit.
AUTOMATED IDENTIFICATION AND ASSEMBLY OF SHOE PARTS
Manufacturing and assembly of a shoe or a portion of a shoe is enhanced by automated placement and assembly of shoe parts. For example, a part-recognition system analyzes an image of a shoe part to identify the part and determine a location of the part. Once the part is identified and located, the part can be manipulated by an automated manufacturing tool.

For example, a part-recognition system analyzes an image of a shoe part to identify the part and determine a location of the part. Once the part is identified and located, the part can be manipulated in an automated manner.
Vision-guided stitching systems and logic for fabricating engineered textiles with interstitched superposed wires
Presented are automated manufacturing systems for fabricating engineered textiles, footwear and apparel formed with such engineered textiles, methods for making such engineered textiles, and memory-stored, processor-executable instructions for operating such manufacturing systems. An automated manufacturing system constructs engineered textiles from workpieces composed of superposed, unwoven wires. The system includes a movable end effector bearing a stitching head and an image capture device. The stitching head has a thread feeder and sewing needle to generate stitches. The image capture device captures images of the workpiece and outputs data indicative thereof. A system controller receives this image capture device data and locates, from the captured image of the workpiece, gaps defined between quadrangles of the superposed wires. The controller commands the end effector to sequentially move the stitching head and thereby align the sewing needle with the gaps, and commands the stitching head to insert a succession of stitches within these gaps.
