Resonator and resonance device
A resonance device includes a resonator, an upper lid, and a lower lid. The resonator includes a vibration portion, a frame, and holding arms. The vibration portion includes a base and a plurality of vibration arms. The lower lid has a protruding portion protruding between two adjacent vibration arms, the protruding portion has an insulating film, the vibration arms have a weight portion that has a conductive film formed on the insulating film, and in a direction in which the plurality of vibration arms extend, a first distance between the weight portion of any one of the two adjacent vibration arms and the holding portion is less than a second distance between the weight portion and the protruding portion.
RESONATOR AND RESONANCE DEVICE
A resonator is provided that includes a vibrating portion including three or more vibrating arms with at least two vibrating arms that bend out of plane with different phases and a base. The resonator also includes a frame that holds the vibrating portion; and a support arm having one end connected to the frame and the other end connected to a rear end portion of the base. The other end of the support arm is connected to a position in a range from −0.1 WB to 0.1 WB, with respect to a base width WB of the base, relative to a position, on the rear end portion of the base where a center line passes in a plan view. A support arm length of the support arm is 0.2 or more times and 0.4 or less times a vibrating arm length of the vibrating arms.
Resonator and resonance device
A resonator is provided that includes a vibration member including three or more vibration arms that each have a fixed end with at least two vibration arms performing out-of-plane bending at different phases. The resonator also includes a base having a front end connected to the fixed end of each of the vibration arms and a rear end opposing the front end. A frame holds the vibration member and two support arms are provided with first ends connected to the frame. The second ends of the two support arms are connected to a location in the rear end of the base.

A resonator may include a vibrating portion that includes a plurality of vibrating arms to numbering in three or more, each having a fixed end, and including at least two vibrating arms to bend out of plane with different phases and a base portion having a fore end portion to which the fixed end of each of the plurality of vibrating arms to is connected and a rear end portion opposed to the fore end portion; a holding portion configured to hold the vibrating portion; and a support arm having one end connected to the holding portion and the other end connected to the rear end portion of the base portion. The support arm is asymmetric with respect to a center line of the vibrating portion with respect to a longitudinal direction in plan view.

A resonator includes a vibration portion with a vibration arm extending from a base and having an open end that performs bending vibration. The vibration portion includes upper and lower electrodes with a piezoelectric film disposed therebetween that causes bending vibration of the vibration arm when a voltage is applied between the upper and lower electrodes. A protective film faces the piezoelectric film with the upper electrode interposed therebetween and a conductive film faces the piezoelectric film with the protective film interposed therebetween. Moreover, the conductive film is exposed in a region at the open end and a via electrode is formed in the protective film to electrically connect the conductive film to one of the upper and lower electrodes. The via electrode is positioned closer to a first region than the open end in the second region of the vibration arm in a plan view of the piezoelectric film.

The resonator includes a vibrating portion that has three or more vibrating arms each having a fixed end and an open end and at least two vibrating arms undergoing out-of-plane bending in different phases. Moreover, the resonator includes a first base portion having a first front end connected to the fixed ends and a first rear end facing the first front end, a second base portion having a second front end facing the first rear end and a second rear end facing the second front end, and a connecting portion connected between a vicinity of a center of the first rear end and a vicinity of a center of the second front end, a holding portion that is provided in at least a part of a periphery of the vibrating portion, and a holding arm that is provided between the vibrating portion and the holding portion.

A resonator is provided that includes a vibration portion having a first and second electrodes, a piezoelectric film disposed therebetween and having a first face opposing the first electrode, and at least two temperature characteristic adjustment films formed to oppose the first face of the piezoelectric film with the first electrode interposed therebetween. Moreover, the resonator includes a frame that surrounds at least part of the vibration portion; and a holding arm connecting the vibration portion to the holding portion. The vibration portion includes a surface opposing the first face of the piezoelectric film and having first and second regions in which an average amount of displacement is larger than an average amount of displacement in the first region when the vibration portion vibrates.
Resonance device
A resonator that includes a substrate, an insulating film that is formed on the substrate, and vibration regions each of which is formed on the insulating film and includes lower electrodes that are formed on the insulating film, a piezoelectric film that is formed on the lower electrodes, and an upper electrode that is formed on the piezoelectric film. At least one lower electrode of the lower electrodes that are formed on the insulating film has an electric potential that differs from an electric potential of another lower electrode such that at least one vibration region vibrates in antiphase with another vibration region. Moreover, a package seals a resonator and includes the substrate, the insulating film, and the vibration regions and includes a ground terminal for grounding the substrate.
VIBRATOR ELEMENT
A vibrator element includes: a base; an arm that is made of silicon and continuous with the base; a silicon dioxide layer arranged on the arm and a continuous portion in which the arm and the base are continuous; a zirconium dioxide layer arranged on the silicon dioxide layer at least in the continuous portion; a first electrode arranged on the zirconium dioxide layer; a piezoelectric layer arranged on the first electrode; and a second electrode arranged on the piezoelectric layer.

A vibration element includes: a base; an arm continuous with the base; a first electrode that includes a first layer of titanium nitride and a second layer containing nitrogen, titanium, and oxygen, and is disposed on the arm; an aluminum nitride layer in contact with the second layer; and a second electrode disposed on the aluminum nitride layer.
