The ADC may include a first channel including a first delta-sigma loop filter and a second channel including a second delta-sigma loop filter. Each of the first delta-sigma loop filter and the second delta-sigma loop filter may include a first integrator and a quantizer having an input coupled to an output of the first integrator. Each of the first delta-sigma loop filter and the second delta-sigma loop filter may also include a first summing node having an output coupled to an input of the first integrator, and a feedforward path from an input of the delta sigma loop filter to a first input of the first summing node. Further, each of the first delta-sigma loop filter and the second delta-sigma loop filter may include a first feedback path from an output of the quantizer to a second input of the first summing node.
SUPPRESSION OF NOISE OF DELTA-SIGMA MODULATORS
A delta-sigma modulator may include a loop filter having a loop filter input configured to receive an input signal and generate an intermediate signal responsive to the input signal and a near-zero asymmetric quantizer configured to quantize the intermediate signal into a quantized output signal which is fed back as an input to the loop filter such that the quantized output signal has a plurality of quantization levels, wherein the plurality of quantization levels are asymmetric to zero.
Systems and methods for delta-sigma digitization
A baseband processing unit includes a baseband processor configured to receive a plurality of component carriers of a radio access technology wireless service, and a delta-sigma digitization interface configured to digitize at least one carrier signal of the plurality of component carriers into a digitized bit stream, for transport over a transport medium, by (i) oversampling the at least one carrier signal, (ii) quantizing the oversampled carrier signal into the digitized bit stream using two or fewer quantization bits.
Correction method and correction circuit for sigma-delta modulator
A correction method and a correction circuit for a sigma-delta modulator (SDM) are provided. The SDM includes a loop filter, a quantizer, and a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The correction method includes the following steps: controlling the DAC not to receive the output of the quantizer; controlling the SDM to stop receiving signals; inputting a test signal to the DAC; converting the output of the loop filter to a digital signal; comparing the digital signal with a preset value; and adjusting the loop filter according to the result of comparing the digital signal and the preset value.

Converting module and converting circuit
The present disclosure provides a converting module formed in a first die. The first die is coupled to a bus having a bus bit width. The converting module includes an analog-to-digital converter, configured to generate a first digital signal having a first bit width different from the bus bit width; and a sigma-delta modulator, coupled to the analog-to-digital converter, and configured to generate a second digital signal according to the first digital signal. The second digital signal has a bit width equal to the bus bit width. The sigma-delta modulator includes a filter and a quantizer. The number of bits outputted by the quantizer is equal to the bus bit width.

Power efficiency in an analog feedback class D modulator
Systems and methods are provided for architectures for an analog feedback class D modulator that increase the power efficiency of the class D modulator. In particular, systems and methods are provided for an analog feedback class D modulator having a digital feed-forward loop. The digital feed-forward loop allows for removal of signal content from an input to an analog-to-digital converter, such that the ADC processes just noise and/or error. Using the techniques discussed herein, the loop filter is low power as it processes error content but not signal content.
