METHODS AND DEVICES TO IMPROVE THE EFFICACY OF CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION
A system and method for integrating and synchronizing an automated mechanical cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) device with components of cardiac catheterization laboratories so as to enhance the efficacy of each intervention. Synchronization can include image gating so that a monitor shows real time images during relaxation of the CPR, and a static image during compression of the CPR.
X-ray diagnosis apparatus and image processing apparatus
A marker-coordinate detecting unit detects coordinates of a stent marker on a new image when the new image is stored in an image-data storage unit; and then a correction-image creating unit creates a correction image from the new image through, for example, image transformation processing, so as to match up the detected coordinates with reference coordinates that are coordinates of the stent marker already detected by the marker-coordinate detecting unit in a first frame. An image post-processing unit then creates an image for display by performing post-processing on the correction image created by the correction-image creating unit, the post-processing including high-frequency noise reduction filtering-processing, low-frequency component removal filtering-processing, and logarithmic-image creating processing; and then a system control unit performs control of displaying a moving image of an enlarged image of a set region that is set in the image for display, together with an original image.
C-arm with integrated CT system
A hybrid imaging system is disclosed including an arcuate arm defining a first and a second end the arcuate arm including a first detector assembly for 2D x-ray imaging of a patient and a second detector assembly for CT imaging of the patient, wherein the imaging system includes an internal drive mechanism for rotating the arcuate arm (e.g. translating the arcuate arm along an arcuate path) around the patient.
METHOD FOR GENERATING AN ACTUATION SIGNAL FOR A ROBOTIC SYSTEM FOR ROBOT-ASSISTED NAVIGATION OF A MEDICAL OBJECT AND OVERALL SYSTEM
A system and method for generating an actuation signal for a robotic system for robot-assisted navigation of a medical object with a curved tip in a hollow organ of a patient. An an X-ray system for image monitoring of the intervention is assigned to the robotic system. The method includes determining a current relative position and relative orientation of the curved tip of the object relative to the hollow organ using the X-ray system, calibrating the robotic system on the basis of the determined current relative position and relative orientation of the tip of the object relative to the hollow organ, retrieving first information on a planned path section in the hollow organ, retrieving second information on at least one relative position and relative orientation or relative position sequence and relative orientation sequence of the curved tip of the same or a similar object relative to the hollow organ used during a navigation movement along at least one previously traversed path section in the hollow organ or another hollow organ from a memory unit, and generating an actuation signal for actuating the robotic system. The actuation takes account of the first and second information and the current relative position and relative orientation of the tip relative to the hollow organ.
Laser projection apparatus, control method thereof, and laser guidance system including the apparatus
Provided is a laser projection apparatus, a control method thereof, and a laser guidance system including the laser projection apparatus. The laser projection apparatus for projecting planned operation information of an insertion location and an insertion angle on a C-arm image photographed using a C-arm fluoroscopy device directly onto an affected part includes a line laser module configured to generate a line laser and to form a plane by rotating around an origin, a matching unit configured to calculate a coordinate representing the insertion location in a C-arm coordinate system based on C-arm fluoroscopy, calculate an insertional vector according to the coordinate representing the insertion location and the insertion angle, and calculate a vector perpendicular to the plane formed by the line laser in the C-arm coordinate system according to the insertional vector, and a control unit configured to control the line laser module based on the vector perpendicular to the plane.
Line scanner imaging device, system, and methods
An imaging device for obtaining long-film images of an anatomical element of a patient or of another object includes a wheeled base comprising an elongate track; a trolley comprising a base portion slidably connected to the elongate track and an upper portion rotatably connected to the base portion, the trolley slidable along the elongate track a distance of at least 40 cm; a C-shaped arm defining a semi-circle about a C-shaped arm axis, the C-shaped arm rotatably supported by the upper portion of the trolley; a source fixedly secured to the C-shaped arm; and a detector fixedly secured to the C-shaped arm opposite the source.
IMAGING SYSTEM WITH CARBON FIBER C-ARM
The present disclosure relates to a C-shaped arm for use with a medical imaging system. In accordance with certain embodiments, the C-shaped arm comprises a C-shaped portion, a radiation source carried by the C-shaped portion, and a radiation detector carried by the C-shaped portion, wherein at least a portion of the C-shaped portion is formed of a unidirectional ultra-high modulus carbon fiber material.
Mini C-arm imaging system with stepless collimation
The disclosure relates to a Mobile Fluoroscopic Device consisting of a Mini-C Arm assembly containing a stepless collimating apparatus which is adjustable using pairs of linear translating, opaque to x-ray plates (2). Each pair of plates are operated by a drive mechanism including a motor (3), gears (4, 6), and racks (5) making it possible to increase or decrease the cross-sectional area of the x-ray beam relative to the x-ray sensor surface area.
Guidance system for localization and cannulation of the coronary sinus
A high contrast instrument, such as a radiopaque portion, can be captured and/or viewed in an image that is acquired with an imaging system, such as with a fluoroscopic imaging system. A statistical model can be used to assist in identifying a possible or probable location of a target. A user may move the instrument coil to the statistically probable location of the target to, for example, perform a procedure or carry out a task.
Portable medical imaging system
