SPECIMEN RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEM COMPRISING CABINET AND A SPECIMEN DRAWER POSITIONABLE BY A CONTROLLER IN THE CABINET
A specimen radiography system may include a controller and a cabinet. The cabinet may include an x-ray source, an x-ray detector, and a specimen drawer disposed between the x-ray source and the x-ray detector. The specimen drawer may be automatically positionable along a vertical axis between the x-ray source and the x-ray detector.
COUNTING RESPONSE AND BEAM HARDENING CALIBRATION METHOD FOR A FULL SIZE PHOTON-COUNTING CT SYSTEM
A method and a system for providing calibration for a polychromatic photon counting detector forward counting model. Measurements with multiple materials and known path lengths are used to calibrate the photon counting detector counting response of the forward model. The flux independent weighted bin response function is estimated using the expectation maximization method, and then used to estimate the pileup correction terms at plural tube voltage settings for each detector pixel. The beam hardening corrections are then applied to the measured projection data sinogram, and the corrected sinogram is reconstructed to the counting image at the selected single energy.
ALL-IN-ONE MAMMOGRAPHY AND BREAST ULTRASONOGRAPHY APPARATUS
An all-in-one mammography and breast ultrasonography apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes: a scanning table on which breasts are placed, the scanning table having a first axis aligned with a scanning direction of breasts and a second axis orthogonal to the first axis; an X-ray imaging device including an X-ray source arranged above the scanning table to generate
X-rays for mammography and an X-ray flat panel detector arranged on the scanning table to detect the X-rays generated from the X-ray source; first and second ultrasound probes arranged on the scanning table so as to be adjacent to both ends of the X-ray flat panel detector to perform breast ultrasonography, the first and second ultrasound probes elongated along the second axis; and an orbital motion device installed on the scanning table to reciprocate the X-ray flat panel detector and the first and second ultrasound probes together along the first axis.
IMAGING SYSTEM GANTRY AND PATIENT DRAPE
An imaging system gantry and patient drape includes a gantry first outer sidewall covering portion biased into a deployed shape and collapsible, a gantry inner wall covering portion extending inward of the gantry first outer sidewall covering portion, and a patient envelope portion. One or more retainers secure a portion of the drape to the gantry. In some versions, one or more drape portions rotate with the gantry and one or more other drape portions do not rotate with the gantry.
X-ray fluoroscopic imaging device
Provided is an X-ray fluoroscopic imaging apparatus capable of more assuredly preventing operation control not intended by an operator. A console includes a first operation lever and a second operation lever. The first operation lever includes a main body tiltable in an x-direction or a y-direction and a rotation portion rotatable about a long axis of the first operation lever. The operation of rotating C-arm about the x-axis or the y-axis is controlled by the tilting operation of the main body, and the operation of controlling the approaching movement or the separating movement of the X-ray detector is controlled depending on a rotation direction and a rotation amount of the rotation portion. The second operation lever controls the operation of translating the C-arm in the x-direction or the y-direction.
Medical x-ray imaging systems and methods
A detector system for an x-ray imaging device includes a detector chassis, a plurality of sub-assemblies mounted to the detector chassis and within an interior housing of the chassis, the sub-assemblies defining a detector surface, where each sub-assembly includes a thermally-conductive support mounted to the detector chassis, a detector module having an array of x-ray sensitive detector elements mounted to a first surface of the support, an electronics board mounted to a second surface of the support opposite the first surface, at least one electrical connector that connects the detector module to the electronics board, where the electronics board provides power to the detector module and receives digital x-ray image data from the detector module via the at least one electrical connector. Further embodiments include x-ray imaging systems, external beam radiation treatment systems having an integrated x-ray imaging system, and methods therefor.
Upright x-ray breast imaging with a CT mode, multiple tomosynthesis modes, and a mammography mode
A multi-mode system and method for imaging a patient's breast with x-rays in one or more of a CT mode, a narrow-angle tomosynthesis mode, a wide angle tomosynthesis mode, and a mammography mode, using essentially the same equipment, on one or more compressions or immobilizations of the breast.
X-ray diagnosis apparatus comprising a blood vessel running information acquiring function, a position specification function, and a diaphragm control function
According to one embodiment, an X-ray diagnosis apparatus includes an X-ray generator, an X-ray diaphragm, an X-ray detector, an image capturing unit, a blood vessel running information acquiring unit, a device position specifying unit, and a diaphragm controller. The X-ray generator emits X-rays. The X-ray diaphragm restricts a region to be irradiated with X-rays emitted from the X-ray generator. The X-ray detector detects X-rays emitted from the X-ray generator. The image capturing unit acquires an X-ray image based on a detection result obtained by the X-ray detector. The blood vessel running information acquiring unit acquires blood vessel running information. The device position specifying unit specifies the position of a device in the X-ray image. The diaphragm controller controls the X-ray diaphragm based on the blood vessel running information and the position of the device.
Radiological imaging device with improved functionality
A radiological imaging device includes a gantry defining an analysis zone in which at least a part of a patient is placed, a source that emits radiation that passes through the part of the patient, a detector that receives the radiation when performing at least one of tomography, fluoroscopy, radiography, and multimodality and generates data signals based on the radiation received, and a fluid-fed cooling system adapted to provide cooling for components that generate heat within the gantry.
