Methods and systems for detecting pleural irregularities in medical images
Various methods and systems are provided for a medical imaging system. In one embodiment, a method includes acquiring a series of medical images of a lung, identifying a pleural line in each medical image of the series, evaluating the pleural line for irregularities in each medical image of the series, and outputting an annotated version of each medical image of the series, the annotated version including visual markers for healthy pleura and irregular pleura. In this way, an operator of the medical imaging system may be alerted to pleural irregularities during a scan.
STREAMLINED, GUIDED ON-COUCH ADAPTIVE WORKFLOW
Systems and methods for implementing an adaptive therapy workflow that minimizes time needed to create a session patient model, select an appropriate plan for the treatment session, and treat the patient.
Systems and methods for image acquisition
The present disclosure relates to a method and system for reducing radiation dose in image acquisition. The method may include obtaining first image data of a subject related to a first scan of the subject. The first scan may be of a first type of scan. The method may include reconstructing a first image of the subject based on the first image data and generating a dose plan of a second scan based on the first image. The second scan may be of a second type of scan. The method may also include obtaining second image data of the subject related to the second scan of the subject. The second scan may be performed according to the dose plan.
Medical imaging system comprising a magnet unit and a radiation unit
A medical imaging system a magnet unit includes a main magnet and a first housing. In an embodiment, the main magnet is arranged inside the first housing and includes coil elements and at least one coil carrier, the magnet unit defining an examination opening. The first radiation unit is embodied to irradiate the examination object and is arranged on the side of the magnet unit. The magnet unit includes a first region, transparent to radiation emitted by the first radiation unit radially to the examination axis. The first radiation unit is embodied to emit radiation through the first region of the magnet unit in a direction of the examination opening and is furthermore embodied to rotate about the examination opening.
Elastography based on x-ray computed tomography and sound wave integration
Systems and methods for integrating a three-dimensional X-ray computed tomography system with an independent sound wave system to determine mechanical properties of tissue using signals from the sound wave system. Methods are disclosed that generate a numerical simulation and take the transmitted wave signals as the optimization objective to estimate modulus distribution of the tissue. Further, the mechanical properties of the tissue are reconstructed based on an inverse algorithm.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREDICTING REGION-SPECIFIC CEREBRAL CORTICAL CONTRACTION RATE ON BASIS OF CT IMAGE
The present invention relates to an apparatus for predicting a region-specific cerebral cortical contraction rate on the basis of a CT image. The present invention may comprise: a deep learning step of a deep learning network learning, by selecting and using CT images of a plurality of patients and segmentation information thereof, a correlation between the CT images and the segmentation information; a feature extraction step of extracting, on the basis of each piece of the segmentation information, semantic feature information corresponding to the CT images; a machine learning step of a machine learning model learning, after a plurality of region-specific cerebral cortical contraction rates corresponding to each piece of the semantic feature information are additionally acquired, a correlation between the semantic feature information and the region-specific cerebral cortical contraction rates; a segmentation step of, when an image to be analyzed is input, acquiring segmentation information corresponding to the image to be analyzed, through the deep learning network; and a prediction step of predicting and reporting, after semantic feature information corresponding to the image to be analyzed is extracted on the basis of the segmentation information, a region-specific cerebral cortical contraction rate corresponding to the semantic feature information through the machine learning model.
COMPUTATIONAL SIMULATIONS OF ANATOMICAL STRUCTURES AND BODY SURFACE ELECTRODE POSITIONING
A method may include identifying a simulated three-dimensional representation corresponding to an internal anatomy of a subject based on a match between a computed two-dimensional image corresponding to the simulated three-dimensional representation and a two-dimensional image depicting the internal anatomy of the subject. Simulations of the electrical activities measured by a recording device with standard lead placement and nonstandard lead placement may be computed based on the simulated three-dimensional representation. A clinical electrogram and/or a clinical vectorgram for the subject may be corrected based on a difference between the simulations of electrical activities to account for deviations arising from patient-specific lead placement as well as variations in subject anatomy and pathophysiology.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMAGE DATA ACQUISITION
The present disclosure provides a system and method for image data acquisition. The method may include obtaining image data of a subject including a first type of tissue and a second type of tissue. The method may include determining, based on the image data of the subject, a target portion including at least a portion of at least one of the first type of tissue or the second type of tissue. The method may include determining, based at least in part on the target portion represented in the image data, a scan mode corresponding to the target portion. The method may include causing an imaging device to acquire, based on the scan mode, image data of the target portion.
ORAL MODEL DATA MATCHING METHOD AND DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a method and device for matching oral model data that can provide matching points to a user to match oral model data and computerized tomography (CT) data even for edentulous patients. In this way, convenience is increased and matched data can be effectively generated even for edentulous patients for whom matching has been difficult conventionally.
