APPARATUS FOR RECEIVING/TRANSMITTING DOWNLINK SIGNALS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
An operating method of a base station includes receiving, from a terminal, a user equipment (UE) capability signal including panel-related information of the terminal, determining whether to generate a panel change signal based on the panel-related information, determining a panel change of the terminal based on the panel-related information when it is determined to generate the panel change signal, and transmitting, to the terminal, the panel change signal including information regarding the panel change.
CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION REPORTING FOR MULTIPLE PANEL USER EQUIPMENT
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a downlink message via multiple receive antennas including a first group of receive antennas associated with a first antenna panel and a second group of receive antennas associated with a second antenna panel. The UE may generate two or more CSI reports based on receiving the downlink message, where each CSI report is associated with at least one of the first antenna panel or the second antenna panel. The UE may select at least one of the two or more CSI reports to transmit to the base station. In some examples, the UE may receive (e.g., via control signaling) a CSI report configuration and may select the at least one CSI report for transmission based on the CSI report configuration.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECEIVING UNIT SPECIFIC BEAM MEASUREMENT AND REPORTING
A method for performing beam measurement, the method comprising: measuring at least one beam transmitted by at least one of a first network device and a second network device, and received by a first receiving unit of a terminal device, measuring at least one beam transmitted by at least one of the first network device and the second network device, and received by a second receiving unit of the terminal device, and determining, for the first and second receiving units (111, 112), the at least one best beam received by each receiving unit (111, 112).
METHOD FOR MEASURING AND REPORTING ASSOCIATED WITH GROUP INFORMATION
A wireless communication method for use in a wireless terminal is disclosed. The wireless communication method comprises receiving, from a wireless network node, a first report configuration associated with one or more reference signals, measuring the one or more reference signals, and transmitting, to the wireless network node, a report comprising at least one of at least one first reference signal in the one or more reference signals, at least one channel quality or at least one first set of group information.
Sub-band-full-duplex adaptive base station transceiver
A base station is disclosed that includes two separated antenna arrays. In a TDD mode of operation, both arrays are used for either transmit or receive. In a sub-band full-duplex mode of operation, one array is used to transmit downlink symbols while the remaining array is used to receive uplink symbols.
WIDE BAND ACTIVE ANTENNA SYSTEM RADIO
A radio chain arrangement comprising at least two levels of radio chain entities. Each of the levels of radio chain entities is associated with a respective frequency range encompassing at least one radio frequency band each. At least two radio chain entities of a lower level of radio chains are comprised in a radio chain entity of a next higher level. Each radio chain entity of the at least two levels of radio chain entities comprises a respective radio transceiver arrangement that is connected to at least a respective one of a number of antenna multiplexers. For all radio chain entities except a lowest level, the respective radio transceiver arrangement is connected to the antenna multiplexers via a splitter arrangement. An active antenna system comprising such radio chain arrangements and a method for its operation is also disclosed.
UPLINK MULTI-ANTENNA TRANSMISSION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method for codebook-based uplink transmission is described. A sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration can be received from a base station at a user equipment (UE). The UE has N antenna groups. N is an integer greater than two. The SRS configuration indicates N SRS resources for the N antenna groups, respectively. An SRS transmission can be performed using the N SRS resources from the N antenna groups, respectively. A downlink control information (DCI) can be received from the base station. The DCI indicates two SRIs associated with two of the N SRS resources. The DCI indicates two transmission precoder matrix indicators (TPMIs). A PUSCH can be transmitted using two antenna groups of the N antenna groups corresponding to the two SRIs indicated in the DCI and two precoders corresponding to the two TPMIs indicated in the DCI.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMAL SPATIAL MULTIPLEXING IN MULTI-ANTENNA WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS USING MU-MIMO TECHNIQUES
A method and system for optimizing the performance of spatial multiplexing techniques in MU-MIMO wireless systems comprising subsectors where the presence of significant correlation between antenna elements can impair the performance of MU-MIMO techniques. The proposed solution ensures optimum selection of a specific combination of transmit antenna elements and receive antenna elements that maximizes MU-MIMO performance
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTELLIGENT WIRELESS CARRIER LINK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AT USER EQUIPMENT DEVICES
An information handling system of a management and orchestration module (MANO) may comprise a processor configured to determine user equipment device (UE) connectivity requirements from UE connectivity metrics received from a first UE, for a plurality of UEs managed by the MANO, enterprise profile requirements for the UEs, and detected network conditions of radio access networks (RANs) and cores of an enterprise mobile network. The MANO may also generate an optimal wireless link distribution across the UEs based on the UE connectivity requirements, enterprise profile requirements, and network conditions of the RANs and cores, and determine an antenna configuration adjustment for the first UE, instructing selection of a wireless link via an antenna, selected to meet the UE connectivity requirement relative to wireless links assigned to the other UEs according to the optimal wireless link distribution. A network interface device may transmit the antenna configuration adjustment to the first UE.
WIRERESS COMMUNICATION APPARUTUS AND METHOD
A wireless communication apparatus performs a first processing for changing the receiving beam in a first direction to determine a first angle for the receiving beam. The wireless communication apparatus performs a second processing for changing the receiving beam in the first direction from the first angle to determine a second angle that is a final angle for the receiving beam.
