There is provided a wireless communication device comprising: a first wireless communication unit configured to transmit and receive a wireless signal compliant with a first communication standard to and from another wireless communication device; a second wireless communication unit configured to transmit and receive a wireless signal compliant with a second communication standard to and from the other wireless communication device; and a control unit configured to control transmission and reception of wireless signals, wherein, in a case where the first wireless communication unit is caused to transmit an authentication request and then the first wireless communication unit is not able to receive an authentication response from the other wireless communication device within a specified time, the control unit causes the first wireless communication unit to retransmit the authentication request after transmission and reception of the wireless signal compliant with the second communication standard are completed.

Provided are wireless communication methods, a UE and an eNB. The wireless communication method performed by a UE includes transmitting transport block repetitions to an eNB, wherein one HARQ process includes multiple repetition sets of a transport block if one repetition set of the transport block is not enough for the eNB to successfully decode the transport block, each of the multiple repetition sets includes multiple repetitions of the transport block, each of the multiple repetition sets is followed by a feedback channel to indicate whether the transport block is successfully decoded by the eNB.
Single cell point to multi-points network system and data transmission method thereof
A single cell point to multi-points (SC-PTM) network system and a data transmission method thereof are provided. The SC-PTM network system includes a base station and a first mobile station group and a second mobile station group. The base station multicasts a message to the mobile station groups via a first bearer, and receives a plurality of confirmation notifications from the mobile station groups. The base station determines a data transmitting status of the mobile stations and re-transmits the message to the mobile stations of the group which has higher priority.
Reception apparatus and reception method
In a multi-antenna communication system using LDPC codes, a simple method is used to effectively improve the received quality by performing a retransmittal of less data without restricting applicable LDPC codes. In a case of a non-retransmittal, a multi-antenna transmitting apparatus transmits, from two antennas, LDPC encoded data formed by LDPC encoding blocks. In a case of a retransmittal, the multi-antenna transmitting apparatus uses a transmission method, in which the diversity gain is higher than in the previous transmission, to transmit only a part of the LDPC encoded data as previously transmitted. For example, the only the part of the LDPC encoded data to be re-transmitted is transmitted from the single antenna.

Disclosed is a base station which transmits and retransmits to a terminal first and second downlink data in first and second component carriers, respectively, wherein a first configuration pattern of UL (uplink) and DL (downlink) subframes is set for the first component carrier and a second configuration pattern of UL and DL subframes is set for the second component carrier. The base station receives from the terminal in the first component carrier an ACK/NACK for the first and second downlink data received by the terminal, which stores retransmission data of the first and second downlink data in a soft buffer, wherein the soft buffer for the second downlink data is sized according to a maximum number of downlink HARQ retransmission processes executable in a reference configuration pattern of UL and DL subframes, and the reference configuration pattern is determined according to the first and second configuration patterns.
Receiver, transmitter, communication network, data signal and method improving a retransmission process in a communication network
A receiver is described which receives data from a transmitter. The data is included in a data block which includes at least one code block, and the code block has a plurality of parts. A first part of the code block is used for estimating a decodability of the code block at the receiver. The first part of the code block is arranged in the data block ahead of the remaining one or more parts of the code block. The receiver estimates, prior to receiving the entire data block, the decodability of the code block using the first part of the code block.

In another configuration, the apparatus may be a base station. The base station transmits PTM data to a UE. The base station retransmits the PTM data to the UE based on feedback information associated with the transmitted PTM data.

A wireless device receives configuration parameters indicating PDCCH skipping durations comprising a first duration. The wireless device may receive a DCI comprising a field with a value indicating the first duration and indicating skipping PDCCH monitoring for the first duration. The wireless device may transmit a SR and may ignore the PDCCH skipping in response to transmitting the SR.
