RECEIVING DOWNLINK CONTROL INFORMATION THAT INDICATES CODEBOOK IDENTIFIERS
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, downlink control information (DCI) that includes a request for a dropped hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook, wherein the DCI indicates a codebook identifier (ID) associated with the dropped HARQ codebook. The UE may transmit, to the network node, the dropped HARQ codebook based at least in part on the codebook ID associated with the dropped HARQ codebook, as indicated in the DCI. Numerous other aspects are described.
Methods and apparatuses for supporting multi transport block grant data transmission
A method and apparatus for supporting multi transport block grant (MTBG) data transmission in a wireless communication system, such as an LTE system. The method includes increasing the number of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes in a HARQ cycle to greater than 8, where the HARQ processes are divided into two or more HARQ process groups. The method further includes specifying a delay indicative of time between the MTBG and commence of the data transmission and another delay indicative of time between the data transmission and acknowledgement (ACK).
System and method for recovery of data packets transmitted over an unreliable network
A system and method is provided that enables the recovery of data packets transmitted over an unreliable network. The system and method utilize an algorithm for transmitting the data packets with restoration of lost data during data transfer over UDP Protocol encrypted with DTLS Protocol. Advantageously, the algorithm does not require changes to data for either UDP or DTLS packets, but rather a separate, specifically designed packet is transmitted to the recipient to facilitate and ensure the recovery of any lost data packets over the unreliable network.
Method of an uplink HARQ operation at an expiry of time alignment timer
Disclosed is the radio (wireless) communication system providing a radio communication service and the terminal, and more particularly, to a method of an uplink HARQ (Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest) operation at an expiry of time alignment timer in an Evolved Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (E-UMTS) evolved from the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) or a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system.
Techniques for enhanced machine type communication acknowledgment bundling
Techniques and apparatus for hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) bundling in half duplex frequency division duplexing (HD-FDD) systems are provided. One technique includes determining ACK parameter(s) to be used for acknowledging a bundled transmission that includes instance(s) of a channel across subframe(s). An indication of the ACK parameter(s) is signaled to a user equipment (UE). The ACK parameter(s) include a first ACK parameter that conveys a size of the bundled transmission and a second ACK parameter that conveys an amount of time for the UE to delay acknowledging a data transmission in an instance of the channel after receiving the data transmission. The UE may acknowledge the bundled transmission in accordance with the ACK parameter(s).
Timing considerations for AUL-DFI
Timing considerations for autonomous uplink (AUL) downlink feedback information (AUL-DFI) is disclosed. With the flexible timeline for new radio (NR) operations, signaling of the processing timeline may be used for the served user equipments (UEs) to properly interpret the acknowledgement information in the AUL-DFI. The UE receives a signal identifying a minimum processing time of the serving base station to process AUL. Using the knowledge of the minimum processing time, the UE determines which of the outstanding AUL transmissions are accurately addressed in the AUL-DFI and which are still pending. Additional signaling to the UE may instruct the UE when to implement any changes to transmission parameters also signaled via the AUL-DFI. Slots prior to the indicated change time will be transmitted using the current parameters, while slots after the indicated time will use the updated parameters from the AUL-DFI.
Method for processing uplink control information and terminal
The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5.sup.th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4.sup.th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The present disclosure provides a method for processing uplink control information (UCI) and a terminal. The method for processing UCI includes: determining the UCI which overlaps with a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) resource in time domain according to the PUSCH resource; determining whether to transmit the UCI, and performing corresponding processing based on a determination result. The present disclosure realizes effective transmission of UCI to be transmitted, and improves transmission efficiency.
HARQ design for wireless communications
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device to disable a HARQ feedback in either a semi-static way or in a dynamic way and to perform HARQ optimization. The wireless device may be configured to receive a first set and a second set of HARQ process numbers, where the first set and the second set of HARQ process numbers correspond to a first set and a second set of HARQ processes respectively, where each HARQ process in the first set of HARQ processes is configured to enable a HARQ feedback, and where each HARQ process in the second set of HARQ processes is configured to disable or enable a HARQ feedback. The wireless device may be configured to receive a grant configuration or a SPS, where the grant configuration or the SPS include a flag indicating whether a HARQ-based retransmission is disabled.
Feedback timing
A wireless device receives a downlink control information (DCI) comprising a first field indicating a transition of a cell to a dormant state and a second field indicating a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback timing. The wireless device transmits, in response to the DCI indicating the transition and via a physical uplink control channel resource, a positive acknowledgement of a reception of the DCI at a time interval based on the HARQ feedback timing.
