Two stage control channel for peer to peer communication

Aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a peer device. The method generates control information to schedule peer-to-peer communication. The control information includes a first portion with a first set of data and a second portion with a second set of data. The method then transmits the first portion of the control information in a first stage using first time and frequency resources. The first portion indicates a control information format of the second portion. The method further transmits the second portion of the control information in a second stage using second time and frequency resources and the indicated control information format.

A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a UE (User Equipment) to handle a sidelink buffer status report (SL BSR). In one embodiment, the method includes the UE transmitting a SL BSR to a network node, wherein a format of the SL BSR includes at least one field of buffer size associated with HARQ (Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request) feedback enabled and one field of buffer size associated with HARQ feedback disabled. The method also includes the UE receiving a sidelink grant from the network node. The method further includes the UE selecting data from a logical channel for transmission according to a HARQ feedback mode of the logical channel and whether the sidelink grant is associated with a HARQ feedback resource or not.

An operation method of a first communication node in a communication system may comprise receiving one or more transport blocks (TBs) from a second communication node based on transmission parameters in an aggregated transmission period #n; generating decoding results for the one or more TBs; generating information required for changing the transmission parameters based on the decoding results; and transmitting the required information to the second communication node, wherein n is a natural number.

HARQ protocol

The present invention relates to a method for configuring a retransmission protocol on the uplink between a network node and a relay node in a mobile communication system, the configuration being performed at a network node or at a relay node, and to the corresponding relay node apparatus and network node apparatus capable of configuring the retransmission protocol. In particular, the number of transmission processes is determined based on the position of time intervals available for the transmission and may be selected in order to control the round trip time of the retransmission protocol. Once the number of transmission processes has been configured, the transmission processes are mapped on the available time intervals in a predefined order and repetitively.

Method and apparatus for out-of-order hybrid automatic repeat request feedback in mobile communications

Various solutions for supporting out-of-order hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback with respect to user equipment and network apparatus in mobile communications are described. An apparatus may construct a first HARQ-ACK codebook corresponding to a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and construct a second HARQ-ACK codebook corresponding to a second PDSCH received later than the first PDSCH. The apparatus may activating an out-of-order HARQ transmission to transmit the first HARQ-ACK codebook and the second HARQ-ACK codebook in an event that the priorities associated with the codebooks are different.

Infrastructure equipment, wireless telecommunications system and method

An infrastructure equipment that transmits signals representing data via a wireless access interface to a communications device and receives signals representing data via the wireless access interface from the communications device in accordance with a time divided structure in which the wireless access interface is divided into a plurality of repeating time units. The infrastructure equipment provides, in each of a first plurality of the time units, one of a plurality of control channels each configured to schedule one of a plurality of data channels, and provides, in each of a second plurality of time units of the signal transmitted to the communications device, one of the plurality of data channels, the plurality of data channels being formed of one or more bundles of data channels, wherein the infrastructure equipment transmits a bundle status indicator in one or more of the plurality of control channels.

Communication apparatus and data reception method

A communication apparatus in a radio communication system, including: a reception unit configured to receive control information including puncture information which indicates that there is a puncture resource in resources allocated to the communication apparatus from another communication apparatus; and a decoding unit configured to decode data received from the other communication apparatus in the allocated resources, wherein the decoding unit performs the decoding using the puncture information included in the control information received by the reception unit.

PUCCH collision handling for multi-slot long PUCCH in 5G NR

A user equipment (UE) is described. The UE includes receiving circuitry configured to receive a first parameter. The receiving circuitry is also configured to receive a second parameter. The UE also includes transmitting circuitry configured to perform, based on the first parameter, the first PUCCH repetitions in first multiple slots. The transmitting circuitry is also configured to perform, based on the second parameter, the second PUCCH receptions in second multiple slot. For a case that the first PUCCH repetitions collide with the second PUCCH receptions, a priority for different types of uplink control information (UCI) is applied. Hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) has a higher priority than a scheduling request (SR) and channel state information (CSI). The SR has a higher priority than the CSI.

Resource exclusion in a half duplex based wireless communication system

Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable mediums for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting a packet on a first resource, determining one or more repetition resources on which to send one or more redundancy versions of the packet, wherein the one or more repetition resources are at a time subsequent to the first resource, transmitting repetition resource information identifying the one or more repetition resources to one or more neighboring UEs, and transmitting the one or more redundancy versions of the packet on respective ones of the one or more repetition resources.
