AVAILABILITY POTENTIAL FOR INDIVIDUAL IN REMOTE MEETING
One embodiment provides a method, including: obtaining, at an information handling device and from one or more sources, context data associated with an individual participating in a remote meeting; determining, based on the context data, an involvement level of the individual in the remote meeting; identifying, based on the determining, an availability potential of the individual, wherein the availability potential is inversely proportional to the involvement level; and providing, based on the identifying, an indication of the availability potential to at least one other individual. Other aspects are described and claimed.
INTEGRATED AND INTERACTIVE CHAT SUITE
A system and method for chat-based studies utilizing a plurality of users may be provided, utilizing at least one chat room processor and a plurality of remote processors. The chat room processors may be configured to receive a chat room template, create a plurality of chat rooms based on the chat room template, assign participants to one chat rooms, provide instructions associated with the chat room when all participants are present, provide questions or prompts at times defined by the chat room template or when conditions defined by the chat room template are met, collect all messages received from each participant, and storing information that includes the message, a time stamp the message was sent and/or received, and at least one unique identification code associated with the participant sending the message. The remote processors are each configured to connect a participant to the system, receive and display instructions, receive and display questions or prompts, receive and display messages from other participants in the same chat room, receive input responsive to the first question or prompt after a message from another participant has been displayed, and send the input as a message to the chat room.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE THAT VISUALLY MONITORS HAND AND MOUTH MOVEMENTS CAPTURED BY A MUTED DEVICE OF A REMOTE PARTICIPANT IN A VIDEO COMMUNICATION SESSION
An electronic device, computer program product, and method mitigates loss of communication between participants in a communication session when a remote participant attempts to speak without manually unmuting the electronic device. A controller configures the electronic device to monitor one or more image streams originating respectively at one or more second electronic devices during a video communication session. The controller identifies, in a particular image stream of the one or more image streams, at least one of a speaking movement of a mouth of a particular participant or a gesture by the particular participant to present an audio input via the video communication session. A user interface presented on at least one user interface device of the electronic device presents an alert that the particular participant is attempting to speak to other participants in the video communication session.
Secondary-stream data transmission method and display method for use in conference, conference system, and peripheral device
The present disclosure provides a secondary-stream data transmission method for use in a conference. An electronic device is communicatively connected to a peripheral device, and a virtual display apparatus and a virtual UAC device are virtualized on the electronic device. The virtual UAC device is configured to establish an audio data channel between the electronic device and the peripheral device, to obtain audio data. Image data is obtained from an output interface of a graphics card of the electronic device. If the image data needs to be transmitted to the virtual display apparatus, the image data, or the image data and the audio data are transmitted to the peripheral device, and are transmitted to the outside by the peripheral device. The present disclosure can not only implement compatibility of cross-platform operating systems, but also support different display modes such as duplication and extension.
System and method for controlling electronic communications
Example embodiments include a controlled content repository, wherein the controlled content repository is accessible according to an access protocol, wherein the access protocol comprises at least one set of access rules, wherein the access protocol enables determining if first data associated with a first object and second data associated with a second object can be made available to a first computing device; a data structure for storing a first object and a second object; and a controlling computing device, in communication with the controlled content repository, for providing the first data associated with the first object and the second data associated with the second object to the first computing device after determining that the first data associated with the first object and the second data associated with the second object is authorized to be made available to the first computing device in accordance with the access protocol.
AUTONOMOUS CONTEXTUAL SOFTWARE SUPPORT ANOMALY DETECTION AND PLAYBOOK AUTOMATION
A computer generates a profile, where the profile comprises one or more programs to monitor. The computer determines a baseline for each of the one or more programs by collecting one or more values associated with a normal operation for each of the one or more programs. The computer detects an anomaly based on deviation of the one or more values from the normal operation. Based on identifying a playbook for the anomaly, the computer applies the playbook on the program from the one or more programs. The computer organizes chat services based on identifying one or more members associated with the anomaly.
MULTI-USER CAMERA SWITCH ICON DURING VIDEO CALL
A computer-implemented method shares data feeds among devices. The method includes identifying a plurality of devices including a first device, where each device of the plurality of devices is within a vicinity of the first device. The method also includes forming an ad hoc network that includes each device of the plurality of devices. The method further includes determining a plurality of available data feeds, where each data feed is associated with one device of the plurality of devices. The method includes building a switch icon, where the switch icon includes a view of each available data feed, and the switch icon is configured to allow access to any feed of the plurality of feed and display a selected feed from the switch icon. The method includes sending the switch icon to each device in the ad hoc network.
System, method, and computer program for network experience optimization using a home network router
As described herein, a system, method, and computer program are provided for network experience optimization using a residential network router. In use, an electronic calendar is accessed by a residential network router. Additionally, the residential network router determines a plurality of events saved to the electronic calendar, wherein the plurality of events require, at least in part, simultaneous network resource (e.g. bandwidth) usage. Further, the plurality of events are prioritized, using the residential network router. Still yet, available network resources are assigned among the plurality of events, using the residential network router, based on the prioritization.
INSTANT CONFERENCING SYSTEM
A method including receiving, at a platform and from a first user using a first user device, selection of a uniform resource indicator (URI) unique to a second user using a second user device. The method also includes generating, automatically by the platform in response to receiving the URI, a conference session unique to the first user and the second user. The method also includes transmitting, automatically by the platform, a message to the second user, the message indicating that the conference session is initiated. The method also includes receiving, by the platform, an indication from the second user device that the second user joins the conference session. The method also includes joining, automatically by the platform, the first user device and the second user device in the conference session.
REAL-TIME CONTENT OF INTEREST DETECTION AND NOTIFICATION FOR MEETINGS
A meeting application server and a method for real-time content of interest detection and notification for a meeting are described herein. The meeting application server includes a processor and a computer-readable storage medium operatively coupled to the processor. The computer-readable storage medium includes computer-executable instructions that cause the processor to receive, via a remote computing system, content of interest data for a meeting. The computer-executable instructions also cause the processor to analyze the content of interest data to determine a theme of interest for the meeting, train a classification model for the theme of interest, and generate real-time meeting data for the meeting. The computer-executable instructions further cause the processor to determine the probability that the real-time meeting data relate to the theme of interest using the classification model and, if the probability exceeds a threshold value, transmit a content of interest alert to the remote computing system.
